Angelina Jolie arrived back in Los Angeles Thursday following her visit to the earthquake ravaged country of Haiti.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported Jolie first flew to the Dominican Republic on Monday to meet with Haitian children that were in the country to receive medical treatment. Jolie also met with the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace.

Tuesday, Jolie flew to Haiti, where she toured a Doctors Without Borders hospital in the capital, Port-au-Prince, before visiting the SOS Children's Village and spent extra time chatting with the young victims of the natural disaster.

Jolie, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, was given a standing ovation by locals, who chanted her name.

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie landed in Haiti Tuesday and headed to a Doctors Without Borders Hospital in the Delmas neighborhood of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported Jolie was in the Dominican Republic Monday, visiting with Haitian children that are in the neighboring country to receive medical treatment following the devastating 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12th, killing more than 200,000 people.

Jolie also took time to meet with the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace.

Angelina also met with the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace.

Sammy Sosa set tongues wagging on November 4th when he turned up at an awards ceremony with noticeably lighter skin.

The former Chicago cubs slugger posed for photos on the red carpet at the Latin Grammy Awards with speculation flying that he had bleached his skin or was suffering from a medical condition.

But according to the Dominican Republic native neither is the case, instead he excused away his paler complexion on the bright television lights and a night cream.

Sosa, who turned 41 Thursday, told Primer Impacto, a program on the Spanish-language network Univision, "It's a bleaching cream that I apply before going to bed and it whitens my skin some."
