Johnny Depp fans, hold onto your Mad Hatter, Disney has released three new hi-res Alice In Wonderland posters featuring Johnny Depp.

Most of the characters have been featured in previous ads and promos, but now these special full length posters also give fans a first look at a never before seen character, the Caterpillar, played by Alan Rickman.

Depp fans will have to be satisfied for now with the new Disney hi-res images… The Tim Burton directed Alice In Wonderland isn’t slated to hit theatres until March 2010.

Rumors that Disney is preparing to replace Johnny Depp as the star of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise are untrue RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
A spokesperson from Disney denied the reports, telling RadarOnline.com that the rumors “completely unfounded.”
Disney Buys Marvel Comics For $4 Billion Cash, Stocks

Don't be surprised to see Spiderman weaving his webs through Space Mountain in the near future: The Walt Disney Company has acquired Marvel Entertainment, Inc. for $4 billion in cash and stocks, both companies said Monday.
The deal means popular Marvel characters, such as Spiderman, Iron Man, The X-Men, Captain America, The Fantastic Four and Thor will now be handled by Disney.
Ike Perlmutter, Marvel's chief executive officer, said the deal opens countless doors for merchandising money.
"Disney is the perfect home for Marvel's fantastic library of characters given its proven ability to expand content creation and licensing businesses," he said.

It wasn’t Harry Potter who cast a spell on movie goers this weekend, but rather, much to everyone’s surprise, it was an elite group of crime fighting (and talking) guinea pigs!
Disney's latest 3D offering, G-Force, drew more than $32 million in its debut weekend at the box office this weekend, knocking Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince ($30 million) out of the top spot.
Also surprising -- Harry Potter’s second week take was 60% less than its opening weekend.

Move over Miley, there is a new teen queen taking her small screen show to the cineplexes. Thursday morning, Selena Gomez posted the official movie trailer for the movie version of her hit Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place.
Watch the trailer above.
“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!” she wrote on her Twitter page.
The trailer promises an action-packed adventure filled with magic, jungles, and the adorable Gomez jumping across giant crevices. It actually looks like a treat for both kids and their parents!

It was a day at the fair for a slew of celebrities attending Disney's A Time For Heroes in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon as they helped raise money for The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
