Jeremy London wrapped his testimony on Tuesday but it was the detective in his alleged kidnapping case that may have solidified his story RadarOnline.com has learned.
Detective Frank Guarino took the witness stand late Tuesday afternoon, where he told the court that London’s alleged kidnapper, Brandon Adams, admitted that another man involved in the alleged kidnapping used a gun during the incident. .

The Palm Springs Police Department insist they have the right man in custody for the Jeremey London kidnapping -- despite our exclusive jailhouse interview with Brandon Adams, in which he told RadarOnline.com the actor willingly drank alcohol and took drugs with him.

“I am convinced a crime occurred otherwise someone would not be in custody,” the lead investigator, Detective Frank Guarino, told RadarOnline.com on Thursday.
“I would not falsely arrest someone for a crime that did not occur.”

Adams, 26, is being held on $500,000 bail in Palm Springs, California for his involvement in allegedly kidnapping London and forcing him at gunpoint to smoke drugs.

"There was no gun... there was never a pipe," Adams told RadarOnline.com.
"We got drunk and I hooked him up with some Ecstasy and Xanax and we took a joyride and partied for hours."

“I think everybody is perplexed... it is out of the ordinary,” Guarino said of the events that took place on June 10.
“Not every city has this type of crime occur all the time. It is obviously a case in which it is not just one documented piece of evidence.”

As RadarOnline.com was the first to report, London filed a police report in Palm Springs after claiming he was abducted, robbed and forced to smoke drugs during a harrowing five hour ordeal.

“We are taking into consideration everyone who has been interviewed. It is a continuing investigation and I am conducting follow ups.”

Adams appeared in court Thursday morning at the Larson Justice Center in Indio, California with his attorney, Gregory Geist. Adams arrived in handcuffs, an orange jumpsuit and stood before Judge William S. Lebov, who granted a continuance of his case until July 15.

When asked if Guarino believed London’s story about the kidnapping he said, “Based on his statement to me, yes. If I didn’t believe the events took place, someone would not have been arrested.”

"Jeremy wanted to drink, so we bought beer and some hard alcohol and we got f****d up," Adams said.
"Jeremy was just drinking beer but we were wasted. We went driving around my neighborhood, handing out beer to my friends and random people on the street. We were having a good time."

The troubled Party of Five actor has a sketchy history that includes being in and out of rehab, a 2004 DUI conviction and a serious addiction to prescription drugs that caused him to lose custody of his three-year-old son, Lyrik.
