A Los Angeles Lakers player was arrested to for allegedly striking a cashier at a pancake restaurant in New Orleans on Sunday, police told RadarOnline.

Derrick Caracter, 22, a back-up forward for the Lakers, was arrested after grabbing and shoving the worker at an IHOP Restaurant in New Orleans. He was refused service around 1 am Sunday morning because he was “obviously drunk, unruly and started harassing the pregnant cashier,” according to the arrest report.

Despite the initial police report, New Orleans police officer Hilal Williams exclusively told RadarOnline that the woman was not pregnant.  She said this information was discovered after the initial report was released.

Officers were called to the restaurant when the basketball player was harassing the cashier, but Caracter continued to be “belligerent with police” and was arrested.
