A judge has dismissed a petition for a permanent restraining order against David Beresford-Redman from visiting his murdered daughter-in-law’s restaurant Zabumba in Venice, California, RadarOnline.com has learned.

EXCLUSIVE AUDIO: 911 Call Regarding Survivor Producer's Dad's Alleged Restaurant Threat

David’s son, Bruce, who is a former Survivor producer, is accused of killing his wife Monica while vacating in Cancun, Mexico in early April.

In a burst of emotion, Zabumba General Manager Norma Paula De Ahlf recalled what happened on the evening of May 29 and testified in broken English “he looks like he wants to kill me.”

She said that the father of murder suspect Bruce Beresford-Redman walked into Monica’s restaurant and demanded to see Norma.

Norma said it appeared as though he was reaching for a weapon in his left jacket pocket.

But the elder Beresford-Redman revealed in court for the first time why he went to the restaurant in the first place.
He said he was looking for witnesses to a 2008 will signed by Monica. He said he was reaching for slips of paper showing signatures of witnesses. He said he was at the restaurant at 10 p.m. (after it closed) in search of anyone who might know the witnesses.

Survivor Producer's Mistress Was A Co-Worker

The 77-year-old also revealed that in mid-May he ordered the restaurant to be chained and a sign to be put up reading “No Trespassing: Closed By Owner.”

He said he did it because he was given power of attorney over his son Bruce’s affairs. That issue is being contested, because Monica owned the restaurant—and a judge has given her sisters power of attorney over the restaurant/bar.

In the end, the judge asked “Where’s the proof he came to do her any harm? Where’s the threat here?”

So, he dismissed the restraining order and ordered each side to pay their own attorney fees.
