The mother of the former Survivor producer accused of murdering his wife denies her son spent $5,000 on a daylong phone-sex chat, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
“That’s ridiculous! He’s a hard worker and wouldn’t do such things,” an outraged Juanita Beresford-Redman told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

Bruce Beresford-Redman, the Survivor producer accused of murdering his wife, is due in a Los Angeles courtroom Tuesday for a hearing in which his lawyers will argue he's being held unconstitutionally, as prosecutors in the case haven’t shown enough evidence to keep him in custody.
Prosecutors counter it's too early in the case to present the evidence against Beresford-Redman, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Bruce Beresford-Redman, the Survivor producer accused of killing his wife Monica at a Cancun resort seven months ago, is due in a Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday for a hearing to determine if he should be extradited to Mexico, where he faces an aggravated homicide charge in connection with the slaying.
RadarOnline.com caught up with his father, David Beresford-Redman, outside his home Tuesday night, hours after his 38-year-old son was taken into custody by Federal authorities earlier in the day.

A judge has dismissed a petition for a permanent restraining order against David Beresford-Redman from visiting his murdered daughter-in-law’s restaurant Zabumba in Venice, California, RadarOnline.com has learned.

David’s son, Bruce, who is a former Survivor producer, is accused of killing his wife Monica while vacating in Cancun, Mexico in early April.
In a burst of emotion, Zabumba General Manager Norma Paula De Ahlf recalled what happened on the evening of May 29 and testified in broken English “he looks like he wants to kill me.”

She said that the father of murder suspect Bruce Beresford-Redman walked into Monica’s restaurant and demanded to see Norma.
Norma said it appeared as though he was reaching for a weapon in his left jacket pocket.

But the elder Beresford-Redman revealed in court for the first time why he went to the restaurant in the first place.
He said he was looking for witnesses to a 2008 will signed by Monica. He said he was reaching for slips of paper showing signatures of witnesses. He said he was at the restaurant at 10 p.m. (after it closed) in search of anyone who might know the witnesses.
Survivor Producer's Mistress Was A Co-Worker
The 77-year-old also revealed that in mid-May he ordered the restaurant to be chained and a sign to be put up reading “No Trespassing: Closed By Owner.”
He said he did it because he was given power of attorney over his son Bruce’s affairs. That issue is being contested, because Monica owned the restaurant—and a judge has given her sisters power of attorney over the restaurant/bar.
'Survivor' Producer's Kids Ordered Not To Go To Mother's Memorial
In the end, the judge asked “Where’s the proof he came to do her any harm? Where’s the threat here?”
So, he dismissed the restraining order and ordered each side to pay their own attorney fees.

In early June, the father of Bruce Beresford-Redman was served with a restraining order regarding his allegedly threatening visit to the restaurant owned by his murdered daughter-in-law. RadarOnline.com exclusively has obtained the 911 call from the incident.

As female voices screamed in the background, the dispatcher took down the details of David’s visit based on the descriptions given by two unidentified men in the restaurant. “He had his hand in his shirt like he wanted to pull something out,” the first male voice said. David was also described as seeming “aggressive” and got the females in the establishment “very, very, very, very nervous” despite looking “like Santa Claus.”

The restraining order stems from an incident on May 29 at 10 p.m. when David Beresford-Redman went to Zabumba restaurant, which was owned by Bruce's murdered wife Monica.
David Beresford-Redman won't say why he went to the restaurant asking for Norma.

The general manager of the restaurant, Norma Paula De Ahlf, filed a restraining order against the elderly Beresford-Redman because she "thought that he was going to shoot me."
In her declaration, De Ahlf said she knew secrets about Bruce and now is afraid of his father. She thought he was carrying a gun when he went he came to the Venice, California restaurant.
Survivor Producer's Mistress Was A Co-Worker
On Thursday, David Beresford-Redman said "Don't own a gun, never owned a hand gun, never tried to license a hand gun, never carried a handgun."
When asked why he went to the Zabumba restaurant in the first place, he responded "That will come out. There was a good reason for it."
