No one saw this one coming. The kid-friendly 3D pic The Smurfs has literally tied Cowboys & Aliens at the box office.

With Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford starring, Cowboys & Aliens was expected to be a mega-hit but it underperformed, all the experts agree, by bringing in an estimated  $36.2 million in its opening weekend.

The Smurfs, with Neil Patrick Harris starring along with a bunch of tiny blue animated creatures, is expected to bring in the exact same amount!

Even if the final numbers available Monday morning put Cowboys & Aliens slightly ahead, the result is still being considered the box office upset of the year.

From Cowboys & Aliens to Wyoming & Wookies, Jimmy Kimmel left no stone unturned as he welcomed "one of the biggest movies stars ever," Harrison Ford, onto his show Thursday.

Kimmel started off telling Ford he was recently in Jackson, Wyoming, where the Indiana Jones star owns a home, and was thinking of calling him to get together.

We’ve heard of big stars having approval over things like their publicity shots, their wardrobe, and sometimes, even over their directors – but their nipples?

Stunning actress Olivia Wilde told Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday that in her upcoming film with Ryan Reynolds, The Change-Up, she got to approve the presentation of her nipples after a technical problem on the set.

"I wasn't actually naked, but I appear to be naked cause they CGI'ed me naked,” she said. "You wear pasties when you’re on-set so people don't see your nipples," adding she likes "to draw little happy faces all over them" to amuse her colleagues.

Gorgeous Olivia Wilde told Jimmy Kimmel Wednesday that her Los Angeles house is haunted by its' previous tenants: the Jonas Brothers!
