EXCLUSIVE: Witnesses Not Interviewed Because Only 3 LAPD Detectives Assigned to Jackson Case, Says Source
Posted on Aug 26, 2009 @ 05:28PM - 3 comments

One reason why Los Angeles police have yet to interview Michael Jackson's security guard and chief of staff is because only three detectives are assigned to the case, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.
"There are only three detectives from LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division assigned to the case," the source said. "This is one of the reasons the investigation is still ongoing at this point."
Alberto Alvarez, who made the 911 call the day Michael died, has not been interviewed by police. Alvarez, a security officer, could be crucial to establishing the time line of events as police focus on Dr. Conrad Murray.
Murray administered various drugs and propofol to Jackson, who stopped breathing when the doctor left the room. Officials say Jackson died from a propofol overdose.
Michael Amir, described as the King of Pop's chief of staff, also has not been interviewed by police.
Alvarez and Amir are both represented by attorney Carl Douglas, who told the Los Angeles Times: "We arranged two separate occasions for LAPD investigators to meet with my clients. My clients came early wearing suits and ties. The first meeting was canceled and rescheduled. The second meeting I had to call them to inquire about the [detectives'] absence."
Establishing a solid timeline of events is crucial if police are going to make a case against Murray, whose attorneys are already disputing the authorities' version of when events happened.
Douglas did not return calls for comment.
EXCLUSIVE: Dr. Drew Explains New Mystery Drug in Michael Jackson Death Cocktail

Dr. Drew Pinsky, board certified addiction specialist, gave RadarOnline.com an explanation of one of the newer drugs to surface in the cocktail of prescriptions the singer took in the hours before his death and offered some sympathic words for Jackson's embattled physician Dr. Conrad Murray.
"Versed is normally only used in hospital and medical clinic settings only," he told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "Versed is another twilight drug like Diprivan. Versed is used in procedures like colonoscopies and cardioversions."

"I feel bad for Dr. Murray. He got in over his head," he continued. "It doesn't mean that I don't think he shouldn't be held responsible, he should. It would take a team of doctors to deal with a patient going through a detox, if that was indeed what Dr. Murray was concerned with, because of concerns he had about Michael getting addicted to propofol. Michael knew the names of these drugs, there were others before Dr. Murray that most likely provided to Michael."
BREAKING NEWS: Court Documents Confirm Michael Jackson Died From Propofol
Posted on Aug 24, 2009 @ 04:38PM - 9 comments

The mystery of Michael Jackson’s sudden death may finally be resolved. According to a newly unsealed search warrant affidavit from Houston, L.A. County coroner’s officials found lethal levels of the anesthetic propofol in the singer’s system. His physician Conrad Murray told detectives he had been administrating the drug for weeks to treat Jackson’s insomnia.

Murray was not the first to give the singer propofol however: it has been revealed that two German doctors had given him the drug before as well as a Las Vegas doctor named David Adams.
In the six weeks leading up to his death, Jackson would receive about 50 milligrams of propofol through an intravenous line according to the affidavit. Murray lowered the dosage to 25 milligrams and mixed it with two other sedatives (lorazepam and midazolam) out of concern of Jackson’s increased dependence.
On the morning on Jackson’s death, Murray used propofol to attempt to put the singer to sleep. At 1:30 am, he gave Jackson some valium before injecting lorazepam half an hour later. At 3 a.m., Jackson was still awake so Murray gave him midazolam. He continued to administer more drugs over the next few hours. At 10:40 am, Jackson demanded propofol so Murray gave him 25 milligrams of the drug. He left the singer’s side to make telephone calls to his Houston office and to family members but found Jackson not breathing on his return. The news was first reported by the Los Angeles Times.
"The Jackson family has full confidence in the legal process, and commends the ongoing efforts of the L.A. County Coroner, the LA District Attorney at the Los Angeles Police Department," said a statement released through the Jackson family's rep. "The family looks forward to the day that justice can be served."

See The Mug Shot -New Details About Michael Jackson's Doctor Conrad Murray's Arrest Record
Posted on Jul 30, 2009 @ 05:25PM - 6 comments

Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray - the man who's knee deep in Michael Jackson death investigation - has had several brushes with the law, and now, RadarOnline.com has obtained his mug shot stemming from his arrest on domestic violence charges in 1994.
The incident involved his then-girlfriend. The doctor did stand trial, but was acquitted.
Although Murray got off back in 1994, Murray has twice been ordered to jail, as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Wednesday.
Murray was sentenced to 10 days in jail on April 29 of this year for non-payment of child support. He was sentenced to 25 days in jail in 2007, also for non-payment of child support. Both sentences were connected to a son he fathered in California with Nenita Malibiran, RadarOnline.com learned. Murray did not go to jail either time; the sentences were stayed while he provided more financial information. He eventually paid enough money to avoid jail.
Investigators have focused on Murray in connection to Jackson's death as sources have reported the doctor administered the powerful anesthetic propofol to the singer. Asked by RadarOnline.com if he gave Jackson the drug, Murray refused to answer, through his lawyer.
A RadarOnline.com investigation revealed that the doctor has a messy personal life and has fathered many children outside of his (second) marriage.
Court records show that, over eight years from 1999 to 2007, Murray did not make any child support payments to his son by Malibiran.
And RadarOnline.com can also exclusively reveal that a second woman, Janice Adams, is accusing Murray of fathering two daughters with her in Las Vegas.
One source familiar with Murray says: "In a deposition given 10 years ago, Murray admitted to fathering six children and said that, although his wife and two children were in San Diego, Ca., he was living with another woman in Phoenix, Az."
Murray is married to Blanche, his second wife. But at least one person says that hasn't slowed down his social life.
Four years ago, Murray was partying with a different girlfriend. Vegas model Maggie Goldstein told a reporter: "I was one of 10 models and promotions girls hired by Conrad Murray to fly to a Trinidad and Tobago resort in 2005 to publicize a new energy drink, Pit Bull, that Murray was producing with a partner.
"Conrad had a ball. He was up into the early hours, drinking, having fun and posing bare-chested with the girls.
"He brought along a girlfriend, Bridget, a black singer from Los Angeles.
"I was shocked to later find out he was married."
Whether Dr. Murray will face charges related to the shocking death of Michael Jackson remains to be seen. Murray's Vegas home was raid on Tuesday and his office in Houston was raided last week.
Meanwhile, autopsy results on the pop icon are expected to be released next week.
