Chicago-based rapper/actor Common attended the Evening of Poetry event at The White House on Wednesday night, and several big-name Republicans, including Sarah Palin and ex-Bush staffer Karl Rove, are up in arms.
The invite extended to the artist, who's real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn, Jr. raised some eyebrows in light of his past lyrics condemning authority figures such as police and former President George W. Bush.

The finished product “We Can Do It Now” also celebrated the famed series REPLAY (read more about the series here).

As temperatures are rising from coast to coast, stars are beginning to step out in one of their favorite spring and summer style staples: Daisy Dukes. As we know, there are Do’s and Don’ts involved in wearing the iconic short shorts, and yesterday, supermodel Gisele Bundchen and fashionista Chloe Sevigny both tried the trend. Only one of them made the Best Dressed list!

Style star Zoe Saldana brightened up the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Death at a Funeral on Monday night, showing off her fab sense of fashion in orange sherbet-hued Lanvin mini. The color-splashed, asymmetrical mini was belted in a bold gold, chain belt to show off her tiny waist. Sparkling Neil Lane rings, bracelet and necklace added a bit of bling, while a leopard clutch added a wild hint and Christian Louboutin Titi Python Pumps had her walking on the luxe side.

At the New York premiere of Date Night on Tuesday, the red carpet was filled with sassy stars dressed in fab fashions! Funny girl Tina Fey rocked a stunning Christian Cota black, curve-hugging pencil dress, which featured blue organza detailing up the side and an exaggerated shoulder. Pairing the dress with Givenchy heels, the actress looked haute off the runway!
