Cocaine was not involved of the death of famed pitchman Billy Mays, according to a study on Mays’ autopsy results conducted by his family through New Jersey physician Dr. William L. Manion.

Manion’s report contradicts previous findings from the Hillsborough County medical examiner, who claimed that the pitchman's blood revealed that the drug sped up the heart disease that led to his death at age 50 on June 28.

EXCLUSIVE: Bag Of Crack Found In DJ AM's Pants

A bag of crack cocaine was found inside DJ AM's sweat pants, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively from a NYPD source close to the investigation into the disc jockey's death.
The revelation came as an autopsy was being conducted on AM Saturday afternoon. Results are reportedly inconclusive, pending toxicology tests which typically take several weeks to complete.
Police first entered the 36-year-old's $2 million SoHo apartment at 5:23 PM Friday after worried friends had tried unsuccessfully to reach him. Police and emergency medical workers discovered his lifeless body on top of his bed. A glass crack pipe was found nearby.
"It wasn't until a while later when police actually found the bag of crack," said the NYPD source. "It wasn't discovered until his body was moved for the first time. The bag of crack was in the groin area inside the sweat pants he was wearing."
There had been reports that AM had been found shirtless but the source told us he was wearing one and that it was removed by EMS workers when they were confirming his death. "When police examined his body for the first time, his shirt was off and that may have well accounted for the confusion. But they initially didn't discover the bag of crack until his corpse was moved during their investigation."
In other new details, the source says police found more than a dozen bottles of prescription pills in the kitchen of his seven-floor Lafayette Street apartment. "Xanax and the painkiller Vicodin were among the pills found," said the source.
The idea that AM was again using illicit drugs is coming as a shock to many of his friends many of whom have commented on how proud he was of his 11 years of sobriety.
The time of death has not yet been officially announced but RadarOnline.com has also learned that AM was still alive at least into the early hours of Friday morning because they have discovered some IMs
sent from him as late as 1 a.m. "He was alive Thursday night and into early Friday morning from the time of these texts," said the source. "He was texting an unidentified individual as late as 1 a.m."
It is unknown at this time if the messages were to his ex-girlfriend.
Neighbors Pay Tribute To DJ AM

A makeshift memorial has sprung up outside the Manhattan apartment building where DJ AM died Friday. Neighbors have left flowers near the doorway of the building in the SoHo District where he owned a $2 million unit.
AM's death at age 36 is even more shocking because of the discovery of crack cocaine at the scene. As RadarOnline.com has exclusively reported, a bag of the drug was found tucked into his pants. A crack pipe and other paraphernalia were found by the cops in his apartment.

Infomerical king, Billy Mays, didn’t just die from heart disease, RadarOnline.com has learned. It was helped along by some pretty strong drugs.
According to the autopsy report, “cocaine use” is listed as a contributing cause of death—along with hypertensive and atherosclerotic heart disease.
Official documents show that Vicodin, Oxycodone, Xanax, Valium, benzoylecgonine (byproduct of cocaine) Ethanol—alcohol—and temazepam (anti-anxiety) were also in Mays’ system.
A Hillsborough County, Florida, press release obtained by RadarOnline.com today stated, "from the presence of metabolites of cocaine and the absence of cocaine itself, it was concluded that Mr. Mays used cocaine in the few days prior to his death but not immediately prior to death."
Mays died in his sleep on June 28 at his home in Florida. Tampa police say his wife found him unresponsive and a fire crew pronounced him dead at 7:45 a.m. The previous day, Mays had hit his head while returning home on a plane. He later told his wife he didn’t feel very well before going to bed.
Mays was best known as the bearded, loud mouthed television pitchman behind infomercials including Oxyclean and Orange Glo. He was 50.

Singer Amy Winehouse allegedly stole cocaine from supermodel Kate Moss’s handbag, according to her ex-husband Blake Fielder Civil.
Fielder claims that the hellraisers were partying in New York went into Moss’s purse and took two grams of the drug.
The theft took place inside a private suite within The Gramercy Hotel where Moss and some other models were having a party.
