More details are emerging about the Craigslist scandal surrounding former Congressman Chris Lee, RadarOnline.com has learned, and they possibly explain why he resigned so quickly after the initial story broke early this month.

It turns out that the married-with-children Lee wasn't just searching for women on Craigslist, he was also exchanging emails with transgender women, reports Gawker, the website that broke the initial story.

In new revelations Saturday, Gawker revealed that two D.C.-area transgender women have contacted the site, claiming they exchanged emails with Lee.

One sent in an ad that Lee allegedly posted on Craigslist seeking transgender women while the other revealed a never-before-seen photograph she says Lee sent her.

According to one of the women, she corresponded with Lee by email several times and he told her that he'd dated a transsexual woman while "in college in California."

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Lee met Yesha Callahan on Craislist and the two exchanged numerous messages before she took her story to Gawker.

Yesha Callahan, the woman who busted Congressman Chris Lee for his Craigslist trawling, was convicted of identity theft and fraud, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.

The 34-year-old has an extensive criminal and civil case history in her home state of Maryland.

According to state records obtained by RadarOnline.com, Callahan pleaded Guilty to an Identity Theft-Fraud charge originating in 2003. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and was released for time served, with 17 months and 20 days of the sentence suspended after making restitution in the amount of $295.17.

Identity Theft-Fraud reared its ugly head again a year later when Callahan was again arrested in a case originating in December, 2004.  She pleaded guilty and was fined $500.  Another 18 month-long sentence was suspended after 12 days.

Callahan's record also includes unpaid taxes and utility bills, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

The woman who ended the career of "Craigslist Congressman" Chris Lee, who searched for sex online, has been exposed -- and only RadarOnline.com has the exclusive photo of Yesha Callahan.

Callahan is a single, 34-year-old African-American mother who placed the ad in the "Women for Men" personals section on Craigslist which ended up causing the second-term congressman’s shirtless demise.

What’s more, RadarOnine.com has obtained the EXACT image that Callahan sent Lee, when he responded to her online advances about three weeks ago.

In it, Callahan begged, "Will someone prove to me not all CL men look like toads?"

Michele Lee is standing by her man, at least for now, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The wife of disgraced ex-Congressman Chris Lee has rushed to be with her husband at his father's Florida estate, The New York Post is reporting.

"She's crushed -- this was supposed to be her Prince Charming," a friend of Michele's told The Post.

Chris Lee, a second term Republican Congressman representing Buffalo, New York, sent a decidedly cheesy photo of himself -- shirtless and flexing as he stood before a bathroom mirror -- to a woman he encountered on Craigslist.

The two sent numerous messages back and forth before the woman, Yesha Callahan, realized who she was corresponding with and went public.

He resigned his seat within two hours of the indiscretion hitting the news.

The Lees are now reportedly at the gated Ocean Reef Club estate his wealthy father Patrick owns in Key Largo, Florida.  His father was one of those who pushed for Lee's lightning fast resignation, a source said.

Wife Michele is said to be "absolutely humiliated" but still hoping to work things out with her errant spouse.
