On April 16, Ben Affleck will take the stage alongside Children Mending Hearts founder Lysa Heslov to co-host the charity's annual fundraiser Peace Please at the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater.

Affleck will have a lot of celebrity company in his endeavor. His wife Jennifer Garner is also on this year's host committee along with Michelle Williams, Forest and Keisha Whitaker, Sheryl Crow, Kate Walsh and Hank Azaria and Katie Wright.

“It is deeply rewarding to be a part of an organization that makes a profound difference in lives of children, through the power of arts and cultural programs,” Affleck said.  “I am thrilled to be part of this year’s event.”

Children Mending Hearts is a non-profit organization which works to educate, empower and encourage children worldwide by helping them find their voice through creative expression. The funds raised from the Peace Please event will support the Children Mending Hearts arts & cultural exchange programs with homeless and at-risk children in the United States and refugee children suffering from armed conflict worldwide.
