Mother Tries To Sell Baby At Taco Bell

A mother in Washington State is being held on $50,000 bail after allegedly trying to sell her 3-day-old baby at a Taco Bell.
Heidi Lynn Gasaway -- who also goes by her maiden name Heidi Knowles -- appeared in court Monday.
She was arrested July 14 after a woman at the fast food restaurant in Vancouver called 911, saying she'd been offered the baby boy for a price between $500 and $5,000.

Jesse James' father Larry has explained the black eye and broken arm he supposedly inflicted on Jesse during his childhood.

"My whole childhood, I never had a chance to be a kid...I was always scared," James claimed in an interview with Nightline that aired Tuesday night. "I was a terrorized kid and, I mean, it's really tough for me to think about now because ...Sunny [his daughter] is the age that I was when my dad broke my arm."

In an exclusive interview obtained by RadarOnline.com, Larry explained his version of how Jesse got injured. He alleges that Jesse's arm was broken by falling off of a fence he had jumped in an attempt to retrieve a ball he had accidentally kicked into a neighbor's yard.

"Just to show off...he dove over the fence, landed on the ground, and broke his arm," Larry said. "He neglected to say that I was right there, picked him up, lifted him over the fence and I never let go of him until his hand was in a cast. I even had them cut his shirt off him at the hospital so I didn't have to let go of his arm."

Larry even felt guilty for originally making Jesse get the ball. "But I didn't break his arm, he did it by throwing a tantrum," Larry added. "I still feel sorry about it. I wish I had just gotten the d--n ball myself. It wasn't worth my son breaking his arm."

Larry also addressed a childhood photo shown on Nightline which pictured a young Jesse with a black eye. "We lived in a big house on a hill and had a small race track on the field below us and I had bought him a small minibike," Larry explained. "He was riding it, he crashed and banged himself up pretty good. He got a black eye, had a couple of cuts on his arm but it was nothing serious. I for sure didn't blacken his eye."

Larry does not hold a grudge against his estranged son and hopes for a reconciliation before he passes away. He also feels empathy for Jesse's situation and infidelity issues, citing his own past with women.

"I am so sorry for what has happened in his life. God knows I've made a lot of mistakes, unfortunately most of them has been with women," Larry added. "I kind of know where he is at right now. I am always there for him...with open arms."

Jesse James' father is speaking out about his son's explosive Nightline interview in which the West Coast Choppers CEO alleged that his father abused him as a child.
"None of it is true," James' dad Larry said in an exclusive interview obtained by RadarOnline.com. "My kids were my whole life. I would never ever hurt any one of them. I would have died before I would have hurt them."

In an interview with Nightline that aired Tuesday night, James alleged that his father beat him and even broke his arm when he was six years old. "He beat my ass pretty good a bunch of times," James said. "I was petrified of my dad...I was a terrorized kid."

"I never even remember spanking my kids," Larry countered.

"I think he made these allegations because he's told so many lies for so many years about his childhood," Larry said, claiming James has fabricated a terrible childhood in an attempt to build a persona as a bad boy and tough guy.

"He was a fantastic kid, we did everything together," Larry added, further refuting James' claims of a rough past. "He was the apple of my eye."

In fact, the only childhood hardship Larry can remember his son encountering was one that resulted in a tender moment between the two.

"I can't remember anything about his childhood that was tragic except for when my mom died in 1981, he was very close to his nana, he was eleven years old then," Larry revealed. "He was the first one there to comfort me, he had never seen his dad cry before."

With emotion in his voice, he added: "I could never hurt my son for all the tea in China...I would never let anybody hurt my kids."
