In a special appearance on Good Morning America Friday, Lauren Scruggs’ parents Jeff and Cheryl said their daughter’s recovery has been nothing short of “remarkable,” and that they’ve been able to keep things together because of their strong faith.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the 23-year-old model/fashion blogger underwent extensive surgery, including having her left eye replaced, after she walked into a live plane propeller December 3 in her native Texas.

Instead of shying away from her injuries,  Lauren Scruggs has bravely showed off her amputated arm for the first time since a small plane propeller cut off her left hand four months ago.

Dressed in a green and black running outfit with a huge smile on her face, the 23-year-old fashion blogger/model was spotted shopping with her parents at a Plano, Texas, sports store this week, where she seemed unfazed by her missing limb and even used it to hang her small white purse from.

After bravely enduring surgeries and physical therapy after losing her left hand and eye in a tragic plane propeller accident, Lauren Scruggs is on the mend, staying positive and getting used to the "new norm," her mother says.

"For the most part, it's been a positive week for Lauren. The sun has been shining! We have had some great talks! There's been lots of laughter, amongst the tears. She is regaining her strength," Lauren's mother, Cheryl Scruggs, wrote on their Caring Bridge website on Tuesday.

After being severely disfigured by a small plane propeller, model Lauren Scruggs is proving that she’s well on the road – and the ski slope! - to recovery, and RadarOnline.com has photos of her weekend away with family and friends.

The healing continues for Lauren Scruggs.

The 23-year-old model & fashion blogger, who's yanked at the nation's heartstrings the past two months, has had her left eye fitted with a prosthetic eye, after she lost it when she walked into a live plane propeller December 3 in her native Texas. 

"She was fitted and measured,” her mother Cheryl Scruggs wrote Thursday on the Caring Bridge website, where the deeply religious family has updated the public on Lauren's condition since the accident. “The ocularist carefully painted and shaped the new eye."

"Lo's pain was raising it's ugly head again," Cheryl wrote in her latest blog entry this weekend. "What we have noticed is that when she is moving about and distracted with other things, the pain isn't quite as noticeable.

Lauren Scruggs Horrific 911 Call Released

The frantic 9-1-1 call that was made immediately after Lauren Scruggs walked into the propeller of a plane has been released, and the intense pain the model was suffering from can be clearly heard as people frantically rushed to get her help.

RadarOnline.com has decided not to air the graphic and horrific recording where Scruggs, 23, can be heard wailing in agony throughout the entire tape.

The call was made on December 3, 2011 immediately after Scruggs walked into the propeller and a person on the phone tells the operator that six people are helping her.

More than six weeks after she suffered horrific injuries from being hit by a small plane propeller, Lauren Sruggs is miraculously well on the road to recovery, and RadarOnline.com has the first photos since her accident.

The 23-year-old model and fashion blogger was dropped off by her father at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation in Dallas on Tuesday and a picture of the pair proves that even the terrible accident couldn't damage her beauty or her spirit, as shown by photos on ABC's Good Morning America.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the first sighting of Lauren comes just days after it was revealed that pilot, Curt Richmond, told investigators how he tried to warn Scruggs about the deadly propeller. He thought she was safe until he heard someone cry out, "Stop! Stop!"
