President Barack Obama is heading to star-studded Hollywood this week to try and rally the super-rich ahead of next year’s general election.
Although Orange County Republican Marilyn Davenport likened him to a chimpanzee and California’s most infamous imprisoned serial killer Charles Manson called him “an idiot” the President is not ready to turn his back on the Golden State quite yet.

Katy Perry who says she feels “a little bit like a Priscilla Presley,” is revealing details about her wedding and shooting down some rumors, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.

The 25-year-old beauty appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show Monday morning saying she felt like Elvis’ teenage bride, “young, in love getting married.”

She described her fiancé Russell Brand as “Oscar Wilde meets Dudley Moore meets Jim Morrison, a little Elvis Presley meets Charles Manson.”

Rihanna, who is one of Katy’s best friends and is planning who bachelorette party, leaked to Ryan a few weeks that she thought the wedding was going to be in India.
Katy says Rihanna was wrong “But I think she got the idea that we got engaged in India –wrong for the reprise.”

Katy is keeping the location secret, but implied that out of the U.S. is a definite “I hope it to be in a location.” She told Ryan. “I think it’s better to take people of out their comfort zone and mesh the groups.”
She won’t give an exact date, but she has sent out “Save The Week” notices. And, while the California Gurl wants a small wedding, she says she’s going to throw lots of parties. “Everybody knows I love a good party,” she says.

Oscar-winning director Roman Polanksi was transferred by Swiss officials to house arrest at his Alpine chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland early Friday.
The French-Polish filmmaker Thursday was moved from a Zurich, Switzerland jail to a secret location in anticipation of the move, while his wife, gorgeous French actress Emmanuelle Seigner, and their two children, Elvis, 9, and Morgane, 16, waited in Gstaad.

Academy Award winning director Roman Polanski will remain under house arrest at his Alpine chalet until he pays his full $4.5 million in bail, which should take at least another three days, Swiss Justice Ministry spokesman Folco Galli said Tuesday.

The Chinatown director has otherwise fulfilled his obligations toward Swiss authorities, Galli said. When bail requirements are met, Polanski will be fitted with an electronic monitoring bracelet and restricted from leaving his Gstaad, Switzerland home, while Swiss officials decide whether or not to extradite him to the United States, where he has been a fugitive the past 31 years.

Roman Polanski's victim, Samantha Geimer, said that the increased media attention she has received since the director was arrested last month is causing her health and work problems as a result of the added stress, according to her lawyer, Lawrence Silver.

Legendary director and convicted pedophile Roman Polanski might be released on bail under the condition he doesn't flee Switzerland, the Swiss Justice Ministry said Monday.
The 76-year-old Oscar-winning director's release is "not entirely excluded" under Swiss law, SJM spokesman Guido Balmer said Monday.
