Joran Van Der Sloot Pleads Guilty To Murdering Stephany Flores

Notorious Dutchman Joran van der Sloot pleaded guilty Wednesday to the 2010 murder of a 21-year-old Stephany Flores, a  business student he met at a casino in Lima, Peru.

"Yes, I want to plead guilty. I wanted from the first moment to confess sincerely," he told the court. "I truly am sorry for this act. I feel very bad."

After his brief statement, Van der Sloot's lawyer argued that his client killed Flores as a result of "extreme psychological trauma" he suffered from the intense scrutiny thrust upon him after the 2005 disappearance of an Alabama teenager on the Caribbean island of Aruba.

George and Cindy Anthony are reportedly in hiding Wednesday after receiving death threats following their daughter Casey’s stunning acquittal on murder charges for the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

Their attorney Mark Lippman said the threats against the couple were on the Internet and that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was investigating.

UPDATE: In a stunning decision,  Casey has been found not guilty of first degree murder.  She was also found not guilty of  aggravated child abuse and not guilty of aggravated manslaughter.  She was found guilty of four counts giving false info to police officers.

The jury in the Casey Anthony murder trial has reached a verdict. It will be read at 2:15 pm ET , and  RadarOnline.com is live  streaming the annoucement.

The jury’s decision was quick. The 12-person panel -- composed of 7 women and 5 men -- deliberated for only eleven hours over the course of 2 days. Never once during the jury’s deliberations did they send out any notes, nor did they ask the judge any questions.

In emotional testimony, Casey Anthony’s father broke down into tears on the stand Wednesday morning while remembering how upset he was when he learned his little granddaughter Caylee was dead.

George Anthony told Orange County, Florida prosecutor Jeff Ashton that he held out hope that two-year-old Caylee was alive. “Every day from July 15 [2008] until the day we were told it was Caylee,” George said and then burst into tears, sobbing on the stand. Casey showed no emotion as her father was crying and just stared at him.

“No, I need to get through this,” George said when the judge asked if he needed a break.

The man that struck Paris Hilton's boyfriend Cy Waits outside of the Van Nuys, Ca. courthouse Wednesday has been sentenced to 200 days in jail, RadarOnline is reporting.

James Rainford pleaded "no contest" to misdemeanor battery; neither Hilton or Waits were hurt in the attack.

Rainford had previously been arrested for trespassing into the exclusive gated community where Hilton owns a multimillion dollar mansion.  After his arrest yesterday, he told cops he "loved" Paris and had been given permission by her father to marry her.

Paris and Cy appeared in court Wednesday to testify against Nathan Parada, who is accused of felony burglary after being arrested at Hilton's Beverly Hills mansion last October. Parada had two knives in his possession and was trying to break into the house as the couple slept.
