Elizabeth Taylor’s close friend and personal publicist Sally Morrison has exclusively told RadarOnline.com: “We are all totally devastated by her death. We expected her to make a recovery and return home.”
The screen legend died Wednesday morning after spending the past six weeks at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She was 79.

Dennis Quaid is suing Baxter Healthcare over his twins' near-death experience.

In the negligence suit filed and obtained by RadarOnline.com, Quaid fingered the the maker of the drug Heparin as the culprit behind the potentially lethal error in dosage given to his two-year-old kids, Zoe and Thomas.

"On or about November 18, 2007, the newborns minors Zoe Grace and Thomas Boone were both hospitalized in, and under the medical care of Cedars-Sinai personnel in the pediatric unit in connection with a staph infection," the doucments say.
"In the course of treatment, it was necessary to flush the infants IV lines and "hep lock" was appropriately ordered for this.
"However, in error a vial of Heparin was selected and used inadvertently by hospital personnel and 10,000 units of Heparin instead of 10 were administered to the plaintiffs."

Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, alleged that the Heparin vials produced by Baxter had confusing labeling and it was easy for medical personnel to confuse the two different doses.
He said the twins suffered life-threatening reactions, which, according to the file, "may be permanent in nature and are likely to cause serious complications in the future."

Quaid argued Baxter should have known "the danger of inadvertent mix-up with the dire consequences that could follow, should have taken other steps to warn and to distinguish each of these drugs."

While foul play has been initially dismissed as a factor in the death of Brittany Murphy and officials believe she died of natural causes, RadarOnline.com has confirmed that the Los Angeles Police Department is keeping their investigation open and now focusing on a possible overdose.

An autopsy will be conducted as early as Monday on Brittany Murphy, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Murphy, 32, died suddenly Sunday morning after going into full cardiac arrest. She was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was officially pronounced dead.
An investigator from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office was scheduled to arrive at Cedars on Sunday afternoon to interview attending physicians. Brittany’s mother and husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack will also be interviewed, a coroner’s spokesperson tells RadarOnline.com.

A 911 was placed from Murphy’s home at 8:00 am Sunday asking for assistance.
The actresses representative issued this public statement: "In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy."
Earlier in her career, Murphy was accused of having an eating disorder, which triggered rumors of cocaine use. In 2005, Murphy denied the accusations, saying: “I have never tried it in my entire life. I've never even seen it...I am also way too high-strung. I can't even take a Sudafed. Can you imagine? My God. I think my heart would explode.”

Los Angeles based hospital Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a haven for celebrity treatment, has settled their lawsuit with the fraternal twins of Dennis Quaid--Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace.
The kids were given an accidental dose of heparin (1000 times the normal dosage for newborns) shortly after their delivery of November 2008. After an initial scare, the twins stabilized.
Each child will receive $250,000, while their parents Quaid and wife Kimberly Buffington were awarded $750k in damages last year.
The hospital has also agreed to provide future care, should any complications arise from their overdose.
