Turkey is synonymous with Thanksgiving, but a handful of Hollywood’s finest choose to go without and RadarOnline.com has 10 celebs who go turkey-free, and their reasons why.

Perhaps one of turkey’s most outspoken supporters is talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who is also Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt-A-Turkey Project’s spokesperson.

"Did you know that every year between 250 and 300 million turkeys are bred for slaughter in The United States? More than 46 million for Thanksgiving alone,” Ellen said.

Leaving his kids at home, Brad Pitt returned to work on the set of his latest movie Cogan's Trade on Monday and RadarOnline.com has photos of him dressed in all his gangster glory.

Brad is starring in and producing the movie, in which he plays Jackie Cogan, a mob enforcer who is investigating a heist from a mob protected poker game.

His slick hair do and all black outfit have been the same every day of shooting, but over the weekend Brad was back to his natural look when he was spotted out with all six of his children and Angelina Jolie.

Super dad Brad Pitt demonstrated this weekend how to juggle a jam-packed movie career and a very busy family life. He and Angelina had all six of their kids out shopping together during a day off from shooting his latest movie.  It was a sight that stopped traffic and RadarOnline.com has the pictures.

Pitt is in New Orleans filming Cogan’s Trade, a crime caper with Javier Bardem and Casey Affleck.

He and Angelina have a home in the city's French Quarter, and taking turns to hold hands with each of the kids, or carry their young twins, Knox and Vivienne, they made their way to a grocery store en masse.

At one point the actor was spotted wrapping his arms around Pax as they waited for the rest of the group to catch up.

Angelina and the kids joined Brad in the Big Easy earlier in the week.  They're expected to all stay there together until he wraps production.

With Vivienne in her arms, Angelina got off the private jet that brought the family to the Big Easy where they're joining the kids' dad Brad Pitt.  He's been there the last two weeks, shooting his next film, Cogan's Trade.

As the Jolie-Pitt kids are getting a little older, their individual personalities are starting to show through. Oldest son Maddox, 9, who has been to several New Orleans Saints games with dad Brad, was wearing a jersey from his favorite team. Pax, 7, carried his own laptop bag!

We also spotted Zahara, skipping along her way to the waiting van, and Vivienne's twin brother Knox in the arms of an assistant.

The family has a home in the city's famed French Quarter, and will reportedly be spending the next several weeks there while Brad works on his crime caper flick with Javier Bardem and Casey Affleck.

Dad of six Brad Pitt was back on the set of his new movie Cogan’s Trade on Friday and RadarOnline.com has the photos of the dashing actor hard at work.

Brad is staring as mob enforcer Jackie Cogan who is investigating a heist from a mob protected poker game.

He is also producing the movie, which is being filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana, a town to which he has deep ties.

Brad’s Make It Right Foundation has worked tirelessly to rebuild the city after the devastating Hurricane Katrina floods and he and Angelina Jolie own a home in the historic Garden District.

After spending several months supporting Angelina Jolie in Eastern Europe as she worked on her directorial debut, Brad Pitt has finally returned to a project of his own.

The actor began shooting this week in New Orleans on the crime thriller Cogan's Trade in which he plays the title character - Jackie Cogan - a professional enforcer who investigates a heist from a mob protected poker game.

Pitt, 47, was spotted on set Friday sporting slicked back dark hair and long sideburns.

In between scenes the actor, who owns a house in the city's famed French Quarter, puffed away on a cigarette and appeared to be trying to hide the fact.

Pitt has previously discussed his struggle to kick the habit and in 2009 revealed he'd been successful in quitting marijuana because of his kids.

Cogan's Trade also stars Javier Bardem, James Gandolfini, Mark Ruffalo and Casey Affleck and is set for a 2012 release.

On Thursday Casey Affleck fessed up to what many already believed: his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix's bizarre behavior on The Late Show with David Letterman last year was all an act.  But Affleck, who has directed a documentary about Joaquin, insisted that only he, the actor and the actor's agent really knew what was going on.

Late Show writer Bill Scheft told Nuvo magazine, “Dave knew about it, and Dave loved it because he could play along…it was great television.”

Scheft actually made the assertion to the small magazine late last year but his claim was largely ignored.

He said at the time, "I’ve told people that [everyone is in on the joke], and not only don’t people believe me, they tell me that I’m wrong and that [Phoenix] is a schizophrenic and he needs help and he’s going to end up like his brother [River, who died of a drug overdose in 1993]. I said no. I saw the segment notes. It’s an act. I saw Ben Affleck’s brother taping the whole thing from offstage.”

In light of Affleck's admission that it was all an act, Scheft's claim about Dave being in on it has taken on new credibility.

"I'm Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix," is the name of the Affleck docu.  The actor-turned-director is being sued for sexual harassment by two women on the film's staff.
