There’s more drama for America’s most notorious gate-crashers, Tareq and Michaele Salahi.
Their top Washington D.C attorney -- Stephen A. Best, the legal eagle attempting to clear their name amid a Secret Service and grand jury investigation into their crashing of the Obama’s first State Dinner — has resigned, RadarOnline.com is reporting.
Best and others advising the couple resigned because their advice was ignored, sources told RadarOnline.com.
Best quit May 19, a day after the Salahis exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com. In that interview, the notorious gatecrashers said they wanted an apology for the way they were treated at the White House!

Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the infamous couple dubbed the White House Gatecrashers, are demanding the White House apologize to them for the embarrassing State Dinner fiasco last November.

In a brand new interview about the incident that created a national security scandal and cost presidential Social Secretary Desiree Rogers her job, the Salahis have also exclusively told RadarOnline.com the congressional investigation on Capitol Hill was a "charade" and a waste of tax-payer dollars.
"It would be nice if somebody apologized to us and for (the White House) to call it quits," Tareq Salahi, along with his wife Michaele, told RadarOnline.com.
"I would certainly not treat anyone this way that comes to my house, even if there was a question about an invitation, or there was some miscommunication... I would still welcome anyone and be gracious.”

VOYEUR, the West Hollywood club that is at the center of a Republican Party scandal is hitting back at reports that have branded the venue a strip joint and a bondage club.
In an exclusive statement to RadarOnline.com, a spokesperson for the club says, "VOYEUR is an exclusive gathering place featuring avant-garde, live art installations. VOYEUR is not a strip club or bondage club. VOYEUR caters to high-end clientele and respects the privacy of all of our guests."

The club has become synonymous with scandal after the Republic National Committee announced they were launching an investigation into the expenditure of nearly $2,000 of party funds at the racy club.

According to reports the party had reimbursed Erik Brown, president of a Southern California firm that has provided direct mail services to political campaigns, for a Jan. 31 outing at Voyeur. The staffer that arranged the reimbursement has since been fired.

The club, inspired by the Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman flick, Eyes Wide Shut, is described by one of it's owners as "risque and provocative" and "a combination of intimidation and sexuality."

The $2,000 nightclub jaunt comes amidst other claims of campaign fund mismanagement. In the same monthly report that revealed the club visit, the RNC is shown to have spent nearly $11,000 on limousine services, and thousands more in lodging at swanky hotels in New York, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas.

Also, around $400 spent at a liquor store on Capitol Hill was classified in the report as "office supplies."
Concerned Women for America, which describes itself as a conservative Christian group that promotes biblical values, issued a statement saying it was "dismayed" that the RNC had reimbursed Brown.
"Why would a staffer believe that this is acceptable, and has this kind of thing been approved in the past?" said Penny Nance, the group's chief executive.

Tareq and Michaele Salahi, arrived on Capitol Hill in Washington Wednesday to testify to the Homeland Security Committee following their now infamous November 24th party crash at the White House.

But if anyone was hoping to pick up a few tips on how to crash like the best they were disappointed as the Salahis were remaining mum, invoking their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and refusing to answer the House committee's questions about their uninvited appearance at the White House event.

The event in question was a state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the White House.

Although the Salahis remained silent throughout, their attorney, Stephen Best, said in an interview prior to the hearing, that the Salahris had believed that they were invited to an arrival ceremony and to the White House receiving line for the dinner.

The White House incident led to an apology from the U.S. Secret Service, and three of it's officers were placed on administrative leave.
Despite the legal ramifications, the Salaharis have seemed to have enjoyed their new found fame. Obviously ones to seek out the spotlight, it was reported that the couple had once auditioned for The Real Housewives of DC.

Nick Jonas, Mary Tyler Moore and Sugar Ray Leonard and kids with Type 1 diabetes marched on Washington D.C. for more funding for diabetes.
They testified Wednesday before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmnental Affairs to stress the importance of diabetes research and urge Congress to renew funding for the Special Diabetes Program, a supplemental federal funding program for diabetes research.
