Hayden Reunites With Welsh Fling

Recently claiming she's single and mingling, Hayden Panettiere did more of the latter recently during a night out with her most recent fling, Welsh TV host Steve Jones.

While they were rumored to have split, it seems like they may have the makings of a full blown summer romance. According to an onlooker at Firefly restaurant, the two got close throughout the night as they hung out with other pals. At one point, the actress even slipped into his lap.
One point of contention: who picked up the bill. After a little squabbling, Panettiere grabbed the nearly three hundred dollar tab.

After some revelry in Cannes, Robert Pattinson jetted off to Italy to re-join with his New Moon cast as they resume filming on the Twilight sequel New Moon.

While Pattinson flew in from France, co-stars Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart flew together from Vancouver. Another addition to their group? Stewart's boyfriend Michael Angaro. So much for those RPattz romance rumors!
Greene immediately took advantage of the warm climate, happily donning a bikini but in true vampire style, the fair-skinned actress quickly got sunburned. Later in the afternoon, the group stopped by a local pizzeria. That evening, the cast kept the fun going with dinner at a local restaurant near their base location of Montepulciano. As Pattinson enjoyed a beer, Stewart rolled a cigarette as they relaxed with other members of the production.

She works like a Hero, and plays like one too.
Hayden Panettiere has been soaking up sun in the South of France for days now, lounging with the likes of Elton John and partner David Furnish.

First in Cannes where the world famous Film Festival is currently playing out, Panettiere and crew have sailed roughly 10 miles to Antibes--another coastal French city, where they spent Friday enjoying water sports and socializing on deck.
Noticeably absent from the crowd was Panettiere's rumored new love interest, TV presenter Steve Jones. The pair have been quite cozy on board all week.

The beautiful women of American Idol past and present oozed glam and fashion on the red carpet in their return to the Nokia theater for Wednesday's season finale of the top-rated show.
Idol winner-turned-multi-platinum star Carrie Underwood fluttered in a hot pink, jeweled chiffon Jenny Packham number, while season two's Kimberly Caldwell dressed up her rockstress style in an 80s inspired black and emerald flounce dress. And not to be outdone, popstar-turned-Idol judge Paula Abdul glimmered in gold from head-to-toe (literally, with the help of a fake tan).
In Cannes, blonde beauty Diane Kruger looked elegant and sophisticated in an ivory silk chiffon Marchesa gown, and Sharon Stone turned back the clock, recapturing a hint of her Basic Instict sex appeal in a black Balmain mini dress with train.

Robert Pattinson walked the red carpet on Wednesday afternoon in Cannes, France for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino's WWII flick Inglourious Basterds. The notoriously scruffy star cleaned up nice for the event--giving the film's sexy lead, Brad Pitt, a run for his money.
