Ex-Rutgers University student Dharun Ravi was sentenced to 30 days behind bars Monday, in connection with his March conviction on 15 criminal charges linked to live streaming his former roommate Tyler Clementi's sexual encounters, leading to the 18-year-old's September 2010 suicide.

Ravi, 20, appeared before Judge Glenn Berman in a New Jersey courtroom on Monday morning to hear his fate, which was far more lenient than the 10 year sentence that he could have received.

Even being born with a rare form of cleft palate that left him with no eyes can’t stop bouncing baby Christian Buchanan from smiling.

The happy child has become a YouTube sensation since his mother, Lacey, of Woodbury, Tennessee, posted a video of her blind bundle of joy to prove how he has overcome cruel bullies with his laughter.

During the seven-minute film, Lacey, 25, tells her heart-wrenching story by holding photos and signs up to the camera while keeping her one-year-old son’s face out of shot.

In wake of the country’s attention on the issue of bullying -- and in particular bullying targeting gay teenagers -- Mitt Romney is coming under fire for an incident when he was in high school during which he allegedly targeted a classmate presumed to be gay. 

Matthew Friedemann, one of Romney’s old school pals at Cranbrook School, an all boy’s institution in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, tells the Washington Post that Romney held down classmate John Lauber -- who was "perpetually teased for his nonconformity and presumed homosexuality," according to the report -- before snipping Lauber's bleach blond locks while he cried and screamed for help.

7Th Grader In Minnesota Hangs Herself After Cruel Text

Horrific news to report out of Mantorville, Minnesota, where a 13-year-old girl hanged herself after three months of enduring cruel bullying at the hands of her classmates, her parents said.

Rachel Ehmke, a seventh grader at Kasson/Mantorville Middle School, was found hanged in her home on April 29 after suffering abuse such as threats, being called a "slut," "prostitute," and a text message that circulated through the student body three days before her death, encouraging others to pick on her so she'd leave the school.

Autistic Boy’s Teacher Denies Calling Him A ‘Bastard’

Lawsuit Filed On Behalf Of Autistic Boy Bullied By Teacher

The first lawsuit has been filed on the behalf of Akian Chaifetz, the 10-year-old autistic boy whose father discovered he was being bullied by a teacher after he secretly micked up his son. And while you might think that it was Akian’s father who filed the suit, it was not. Rather, the lawsuit was filed by a North Jersey man who overcame a severe childhood disability to become a professional musician.

Pat Gesualdo filed the federal complaint Thursday alleging Chaifetz’s rights were violated by his former special education teacher, Kelly Altenburg.
