When Brooke Hogan dropped into Enclave Chicago nightclub Friday night, you would have thought she was there for a paid hosting gig. Nope, the reality star just wanted to party, an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office has decided not to file any charges in connection with the August 28th nightclub brawl involving Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis and Playboy Playmate Jayde Nicole.
The D.A.'s office says as far as it's concerned the case is closed, and it will not take any legal action against Francis, Nicole, or her boyfriend Brody Jenner, who was at Guys And Dolls at the time of the incident.

In it the DA's office comments that Jayde Nicole (last name Gelette) poured a drink on Francis and that he responded by pulling Gelette's hair from the back and pulling her down.

They go on to say that a video recording provided by the nightclub indicates that "Gelette appears to have acted without immediate provocation in her assault upon suspect/victim Francis."

Joe Francis acted in self-defense when he grabbed Jayde Nicole’s hair from behind and dragged her along the floor, his lawyer says.
The footage of the vicious incident appears exclusively on RadarOnline.com and has prompted Francis to release an eyebrow-raising statement through his reps. And his comments have sparked all-out war, prompting Jayde’s lawyer to compare the Girls Gone Wild founder to John Gotti Jr!

“The footage clearly shows Nicole instigating the incident, waiting to hit Francis in the back of the head and then pour her drink down his back, thereby committing two counts of battery on Francis,” says a press release quoting Francis lawyer Cyrus Nownejad. He also points out that because the tape has no audio you can’t hear Jayde screaming “I’m going to kill you” at Francis.
Jayde can be clearly seen – and admits to – dumping a drink on Francis from behind.

Apparently Joe was terrified because his lawyer now says: “My client grabbed Nicole’s hair in self-defense to restrain her from further assaults against him and to protect himself against her horrendous threat.”
By the way: Joe Francis is 6-foot-2, and weighs more than 200 pounds. Jayde Nicole is 5-foot-9 and 117 pounds.

The comments from Francis’ lawyer caused Jayde’s attorney Ronald Richards to fire back, telling RadarOnline.com: "If we were on another planet, where people have eyes on the back of their heads, Francis' version of events may be believable. However, since we are on planet Earth, the tape clearly shows a defenseless woman being savagely attacked by a three-time convicted felon who is on probation in more jurisdictions than John Gotti Jr.
It's also noteworthy that Francis never filed a police report claiming he was a victim of any threat. The self serving press release is nothing more than a desperate man and his attorney trying to mitigate what is obviously a horrific image of his client of beating Ms. Nicole."
And yet, Joe’s actions, the hair pulling and dragging, were a reasonable attempt to restrain the former Playmate, his lawyer contends!
”My client was clearly acting reasonably under the circumstances, as he had just been battered twice and threatened to be killed. He merely restrained Ms. Nicole and then left the scene,” the lawyer said.

Early in the morning on Friday, August 28, Jayde, her boyfriend Brody Jenner and a group of friends were at Hollywood hot spot Guys and Dolls when Jayde spotted Joe and said he was grabbing her friend and trying to kiss her. Jayde reached through a crowd and dumped her shot-glass drink on Joe's shoulder. She then turned back to the bar.

That's when the violence started. Joe pushed bar patrons aside, reached through the crowd and grabbed Jayde by the hair, viciously yanking her to the floor and dragging her through the crowd. A melee ensued, with Brody and others chasing Francis through the bar.
Joe Pleads Guilty To Tax Charges
As she stood up barefoot and sat at the bar Jayde said she had no idea what had just happened to her. "I was traumatized at this point," the former Playboy model told RadarOnline.com. Conflicting reports from Jenner and Francis say that the two got into a fist fight outside the club and Brody was tasered by someone.
