21-year-old starlet Taylor Swift will be up against the big boys of country music at the 2011 Country Music Association Awards this year.
The country sensation has been nominated for Entertainer of the Year, alongside Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean.

Zac Brown received nine nominations, while Miranda Lambert received seven, as the nominees for the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced Tuesday morning, and RadarOnline.com has all the details for you.
Brown received five for work with his self-titled band, and another four for his production and writing of the song, As She's Walking Away.

Relatively new faces dominated at Wednesday night's 44th Annual Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, where upstart country crooner couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton struck gold, along with veteran Brad Paisley who won the night's top prize.
Lambert - who turned 27 on Wednesday - won best album for Revolution, best video for The House That Built Me (songwriters Tom Doughas and Allen Shamblin won best song for the same track), and best female vocalist.

First Lady Michelle Obama continued her fashionista ways by showing-off a new ‘bobbed’ hairstyle Tuesday.
The President’s wife swept back her tresses at a celebration of country music at The White House.
The elegant new look was matched with a white patterned dress at the event that was also attended by her daughters Malia and Sasha and which featured performances by country stars Charley Pride, Brad Paisley, Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Country superstar Brad Paisley was the big winner at the CMT Music Awards Tuesday night in Nashville, Tenn.
Paisley picked up three trophies: Male Video of the Year for Waitin' on a Woman, Performance of the Year for Country Boy (with Alan Jackson, George Strait, and Dierks Bentley) and Collaborative Video of the Year for Start a Band with Keith Urban.
