Normally prim and proper Gwyneth Paltrow surprisingly dropped the C-word on Monday's Chelsea Lately, where she appeared to promote her new cookbook, My Father's Daughter.
The discussion turned to family -- and eventually grandmothers -- when they realized both of their grandmothers shared the name "Mutti.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, on Friday's edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, dishes more on her budding music career -- and Britney Spears can breathe easy for now!
"The rumor is you have a record deal: Are you going to do an album?" Ellen asked Paltrow, who sang on her well-received Glee cameo last November, then played a singer in January's Country Strong.
"Well, I haven't signed anything but I'm thinking about it," Paltrow told Ellen. "I kind of have to get my head around the concept of it and how I would want to do it. Do it in a right way.

The unlikely ensemble of Gwyneth Paltrow, Cee Lo Green and the Muppets stole the show at Sunday's 53rd Annual Grammy Awards with a rousing rendition of Green's award-winning hit, Forget You.
Green was decked out in a colorful, birdlike ensemble for the number, which was an homage to a decades-old Elton John performance of Crocodile Rock on The Muppet Show.

Paltrow, 38, had previously sang the hit single -- which earned Green the best urban/alternative performance Grammy -- on her cameo on Glee last November.

Gwyneth Paltrow hasn't always been full of Glee.
In a brutally frank interview, the Country Strong star told Good Housekeeping that following the birth of her son Moses, "I felt like a zombie. I couldn't access my heart. I couldn't access my emotions. I couldn't connect."
The mother-of-two, who's married to Coldplay's Chris Martin, said she "just thought it meant I was a terrible mother and a terrible person."

Gwyneth Paltrow made her long-awaited special appearance on Tuesday's edition of Fox's hit Glee, as the star played Holly Holiday, a cool substitute teacher filling in after regular teacher Will Schuester falls ill.
Besides her stellar singing, among the cool moments from Paltrow's Glee debut was when her character, in an attempt to connect to the high school students, used pop culture queen Lindsay Lohan as a common bond, teaching the kids the Spanish translations for how many times LiLo's been in rehab, how totally crazy she is and more.
