Chris Brown Blocked from BET Awards By Jay-Z Says Host

Radio host Wendy Williams gave a no-holds barred interview to PopEater on Wednesday and talked about everything from Megan Fox to counseling Kate Hudson. One tidbit the outspoken personality gave concerned Chris Brown’s lack of involvement with the BET Awards.

“If Chris Brown wanted to make an immediate comeback, the BET Awards was the way to do it,” she said. “...but from what I understand, Jay-Z didn’t even want him in the building.”
A rep for the show and the singer have insisted that Brown was never confirmed for the show to begin with.
Williams doesn’t completely write him off though and sees a comeback in the future if Brown comes up with the right hit: “He does have a chance to get back in and do something, but he has to have a spec-tacular party song. It's gotta be good for hip-hop and Top 40, for all colors and all ages.”

Michael Jackson's father has joined a star-studded list of performers and celebrities turning out to honor the King of Pop at Sunday's BET Awards.
