Sugarland paid tribute to the victims of the deadly Indiana State Fair stage collapse with a benefit concert Friday night.

The Grammy winning duo performed a free show in honor of the seven people who died and the more than 40 who were injured in the tragic accident 10 weeks ago.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported
, on August 13, Sugarland was set to take the stage when freak high winds toppled scaffolding and stage rigging.

The benefit show took place just a few miles from the site of the tragedy, at Indianapolis' Conseco Fieldhouse. A public memorial for IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon was held there last Sunday.

"You are different, and we are different," singer Jennifer Nettles told the crowd at the start of the show. "We're all changed by what happened then. But we are going to try to give you the best show we can."

Lady Gaga Rocks It On Stage In Japan

The outrageous singer took to the stage Saturday dressed in panties and a little black bustier to perform at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan benefit concert in Chiba, Japan.

Gaga rocked out with a group of dancers, ditching her turquoise wig and sporting little blonde buns and blunt bangs.

The kind-hearted performer has already donated an estimated $3 million to help relief efforts after Japan was rocked by a series of earthquakes and a massive tsunami earlier this year.

Earlier in the week Gaga gave a press conference, telling reporters that Japan is now “safe” and that she wants everyone to visit the grief-stricken country.

“I would like to use my position here today and all week long to run around Tokyo and enjoy the beautiful city,” Gaga said at the press conference. “[I want to] kiss all the beautiful little monsters and scream at the top of my lungs that everyone should visit this beautiful place.”

LeAnn Rimes and her new hubby Eddie Cibrian held a benefit concert for victims of the tornado that ripped through the South, and they were so overcome with emotion that they both cried on stage during the event.

LeAnn burst into tears when she described being part of the Evening With LeAnn Rimes and dedicated her new single Give to the victims of the Joplin tornado.  “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house,” a concert goer told RadarOnline.com.  “She apologized to the crowd for being so emotional. She was obviously so caught up in the movement and genuinely moved.”
