Laboratory Tested Beagles Finally See Sunlight After A Lifetime Of Captivity

A pack of adorable Beagles took their first tentative steps into the sunlight after spending their entire lives locked in cages, and RadarOnline.com has video of their paws hitting the grass for the initial time.

The dogs have been held since puppy-hood in a laboratory in Spain where they were used for testing, the MailOnline reported.

Seventy-two Beagles, who had never been out of their cages before and had no interaction with each other, were part of a rescue mission carried out by members of Animal Rescue Media Education (ARME).

Miracle At The Pound! Dog On Death Row Survives The Gas Chamber

A dog, who was sentenced to death at the pound after he was abandoned, miraculously survived the gas chamber, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Daniel the Beagle was a dead dog walking when he was lead to the gas chamber with 17 other dogs at the Animal Control Department in Florence, Alabama, reported the Huffington Post via the AP.

But somehow the 20-pound hound survived the fatal dose of carbon monoxide that killed his fellow stray pups and walked out again unscathed and even wagging his tail, much to the confusion of shelter staff.

"It may be that his breathing was shallow because of a cold or something. Or maybe God just had a better plan for this one," Phil Stevenson, a Florence city spokesman, said on Friday.

Dr. Conrad Murray’s defense team has earned another enemy – the animal right’s group PETA - for their testing of the powerful anesthetic Propofol on beagles.

PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, President Ingrid Newkirk exclusively talked to RadarOnline.com and slammed the doctor, who is accused of killing Michael Jackson

“Dr. Conrad Murray and his defense team should do time for this act alone. Poisoning and killing dogs will not change what is already known about propofol—its hazards are well documented,” she said.
