BAFTA Beauty: Crave Worthy Couture On The Red Carpet

At The Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) Sunday night, our favorite Oscar contenders got gowned in crave worthy couture. Burberry had a huge influence on the red carpet, with designer Christopher Bailey scoring three starlets on the red carpet. Claire Danes, Saoirse Ronan and Uma Thurman all looked divine in Burberry gowns, which were custom-made to absolute perfection to show off their individual beauty.

Penelope Cruz hit her homeland for the Goya Cinema Awards in Madrid, Spain, looking wondrous in winter white. The gorgeous Spanish actress, who opted for a figure-hugging vintage Versace floorlength was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Broken Embraces.

It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles, as stars traipsed down the red carpet of The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, the only awards show where actors get to vote for themselves!
Red was the haute color of the evening, as stars were dressed in various styles of the bold color. Purple and fuchsia also continued their royal reign, as did the non-color white.

One-shouldered frocks, classic silhouettes, and Old Hollywood glamour continued to transpire on the red carpet, though a few stars shied away,
making fab and faux-pas choices hot off the runway!
Carey Mulligan continued to give Hollywood An Education in style, looking fiery hot in a Lanvin strapless, while Diane Kruger looked Glourious in a
mustard yellow floorlength, which designer Jason Wu designed especially for her. Drew Barrymore recovered from her Golden Globes Versace incident,
looking très glam in a blue, strapless floorlength, which featured an asymmetrical tier.

Style slip-ups? Meryl Streep's printed Balenciaga was more suited for a luncheon than an awards show, while the divinely Dior Marion Cotillard ill-fatedly abandoned the French design house for the evening, rocking a one-shouldered Elie Saab, which featuredŠside padding? True Blood's Anna Paquin opted for a nightmare instilling, Spring Summer 2010 Alexander McQueen mini, thankfully leaving the collection's Armadillo heels at home!
