Serena Williams has always given one hundred percent to her endeavors and her upcoming nail collection is not an exception.
The tennis champ has recently enrolled in a 240-hour program to be certified as a nail tech in Florida.
“No one likes getting their nails done more than I do. As a matter of fact I go every four days to get a manicure and every seven days for a pedicure. So, I had a brilliant idea to get certified to be a nail tech,” she wrote on her Global Grind blog.

"Besides the fact that I am coming out with a nail collection from a company called HairTech, I thought 'Serena, this is a no-brainer'.”
Shortly after returning home from the Australian Open, Williams began researching schools that would let her finish the course at her own pace. As always, the athlete made sure she was prepared to face the challenges ahead.

"The night before my class I made sure I had all my tools, books and gear organised. I went to the Hello Kitty store and bought plenty of containers as well as a backpack to keep my belongings. If I'm not the best, I sure do want to look like it."

Tennis superstar Roger Federer is continuing to voice his support for his good friend Tiger Woods. Federer gave an interview to the Australian Open's official website Saturday where he expressed concern for the golfer.
"I'm not going to talk about his personal life but I wish him all the best, you know, getting back, you know, hopefully on the golf course, resolving his problems, and see how he goes," Federer is quoted as saying.
The comments echoed what Federer told a French newspaper on Friday.

Federer, who appeared with Tiger in a series of TV and print ads for Gillette, said he tries not to put pressure on himself about being the perfect role model.

The Australian Open, one of tennis' Grand Slam events, gets underway Monday. Federer is in the process of pulling together a superstar mixed doubles exhibition match as a fundraiser for the people of Haiti.
The plan is to charge $10. for the match, and "fill the stadium," Federer said. If he's successful -- and Federer usually is -- that would mean $1.5 million going to the relief effort.

For the first time, tennis legend Andre Agassi has opened up about his shocking drug use which saw him descend into taking Crystal Meth.
In a blistering new autobiography, the star admits that he first tried the highly addictive drug back in 1997 over growing fears over a loss of form and about concerns about his impending marriage to actress Brooke Shields.
Agassi says 1997 had been his worst year on the tour and he had failed to win any titles and dropped to 141 in the world rankings.
