Johnny Depp is a renaissance man: actor, musician, and art lover. The busy actor took some time to enjoy other people’s art on Sunday when he stopped by the opening of a gallery exhibit in Santa Monica.

Depp was on hand to help celebrate the daughter of his The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus co-star Tom Waits. Wait’s daughter Kellesimone, along with Tiffany Trenda, was getting featured at the Frank Pictures Gallery.

We're sure the likes of Andy Warhol would agree -- there's a degree of art in the frothiest of culture, even in MTV's The Hills.
That's at least what artist Karin Bubaš sees, as she's currently rolling out a collection of pastel portraits of the major players in The Hills cast.

Green Day brings a lot more with them on the road than just roadies: the band will be accompanied by a traveling art gallery, composed of original pieces inspired by music from the band's most recent release, 21st Century Breakdown.
"We are really excited to be touring with this incredible show," Green Day front-man Armstrong said. "Seeing the pieces that our new album has inspired is very exciting. We feel a strong connection to that type of creative expression; we think the fans coming out to see us on the road will love it."

Here comes a must-have for Blink 182 fans -- especially ones with wall space in their homes, office or (we cringe while saying this) man caves.
The band, as a promotion for their upcoming summer 2009 tour, have released a special limited edition silk screened poster, designed by Artist Maxx242. The posters will only be available at the band's shows, officials said, with only 30 for sale at each venue.
