Mel Gibson Called Holocaust Horses**t, Threatened To Have Ex Killed Says Screenwriter

Mel Gibson is under fire again, accused of more anti-Semitism, this time from a Hollywood screenwriter who says he was the recipient of repeated hateful rants from the foul-mouthed star.

Joe Eszterhas, who was slated to write the screenplay for the Gibson project The Maccabees, wrote a scathing letter to Mel where he leveled the claim that Gibson “hates Jews,” called the Holocaust “horses**t” and threatened to have his ex killed.

Fired Dior designer John Galliano goes on trial Wednesday, as the once-celebrated fashion guru stands accused of hurling anti-Semitic slurs in separate incidents at a Paris, France café over the past year.

The 50-year-old fashion designer is accused of making "public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity;" he faces up to six months in prison, and fines totaling $32,175 in American currency.

Fired Dior designer John Galliano goes on trial Wednesday, as the once-celebrated fashion guru stands accused of hurling anti-Semitic slurs in separate incidents at a Paris, France café over the past year.

The 50-year-old fashion designer is accused of making "public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity;" he faces up to six months in prison, and fines totaling $32,175 in American currency.

In February, a couple reported the designer hurled Anti-Semitic slurs at them. Shortly following that, the UK Sun posted a video taken at the same cafe the prior October; in it, Galliano said toward someone he thought was Jewish: "I love Hitler ... [If he were a ruler,] people like you would be dead ... your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f------ gassed."

Famed designer John Galliano, seen Monday at a police station in Paris, France, has been fired by Dior in the wake of accusations -- and video evidence -- of his hatred of Jewish people.

"Today, because of the particularly odious nature of the behavior and words of John Galliano in a video made public this Monday, the Christian Dior house has decided to lay him off immediately and has begun firing procedures against him,” the company said Tuesday.

Famed designer John Galliano, seen Monday at a police station in Paris, France, has been fired by Dior in the wake of accusations -- and video evidence -- of his hatred of Jewish people.

"Today, because of the particularly odious nature of the behavior and words of John Galliano in a video made public this Monday, the Christian Dior house has decided to lay him off immediately and has begun firing procedures against him,” the company said Tuesday.

Galliano was at the police station on Monday to speak with investigators over an incident last week, when a couple claimed he shouted anti-Semitic epithets at them.
