Tracy Morgan apologized Friday for his “not funny” anti-gay rant at a comedy show but a prominent gay rights organization has said they expect him to do more.
GLAAD: The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation President Jarrett Barrios said "Tracy Morgan must not only apologize, but assure us that this won't happen again and send a clear message to Americans that anti-gay violence is no joke."

A new PSA for Cyndi Lauper's Give a Damn Campaign debuted Monday night, in hopes of eliminating instances of anti-gay bullying in the wake of incidents such as last week's suicide by a Rutgers college freshman after classmates outed him.

The National Organization for Marriage has a new face to endorse a $1.5 million campaign: Carrie Prejean.
The 21-year-old Miss California, who sparked controversy with her anti-gay marriage comments at this month's Miss USA pageant, will be in Washington Thursday for the roll-out of a new ad campaign called "No Offense."

Roger Neal, a spokesman for the Miss California pageant, says beauty queen Carrie Prejean lied when she said state pageant officials told her to apologize to the gay community and refrain from discussing religion on the talk show circuit.
The 21-year-old Miss California, who told Miss USA judge Perez Hilton she opposed gay marriage, has created a nationwide controversy with her comments.

Leave it to Perez Hilton to spark controversy.
A judge at this year's Miss USA pageant, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, the celebrity blogger asked Miss California, a statuesque San Diego blond named Carrie Prejean, a nerve-wracking question.
"Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same sex marriage," he said. "Do you think every state should follow suit, why or why not?"
