When food enthusiast Paula Deen revealed she has type 2 diabetes many of her fans were shocked and appalled that she waited three years to go public with the news, and fellow foodie Anthony Bourdain didn't hold back on his opinions.

But now it's Paula who's not holding back in a new interview with Prevention magazine, saying she found his comments "very, very cruel" and noted it was "awful, because people out there with diabetes haven't chosen this."

Diabetes, shmeeties, we guess.

Celeb chef/diabetic Paula Deen -- in the line of media fire for her controversial decision to endorse a diabetes drug from Novo Nordisk called Victoza -- threw caution to the wind on a Caribbean cruise this week, as she dove into a juicy cheeseburger.

Deen, 65, chose the high-calorie meal despite a number of healthier options on her annual Party At Sea cruise on the vessel, Celebrity Eclipse.

Famous for her deep-fried chicken and decadent Southern desserts, celebrity chef Paula Deen is about to reveal that will no longer be able to indulge in her favorite calorie-laden cooking because she is suffering from diabetes.

The Food Network star was trying to keep her ailment a secret due to the criticism she has gotten for her decadent dishes, but recently sealed a multi-million dollar deal with a pharmaceutical company Novartis to endorse the drug she is taking to ease her condition so is ready to come clean, reported The Daily.

The 64-year-old chef from Albany, Georgia, who has been slammed by health groups for the high amounts of fat, salt and sugar in her dishes and for even including cheesecake for breakfast in her children's cookbook, Lunch-Box Set, has Type 2 diabetes, which is associated with fatty foods and obesity.

We don't know if they had a reservation with the ink artist but Anthony Bourdain and his wife Ottavia Busia got matching tattoos Friday and RadarOnline.com has the video and pictures!

The host of the Travel Channel's outrageous food and adventure series, Anthony Bourdain No Reservations, selected a snake to decorate his inner arm. Ottavia, who has appeared in several episodes of her husband's show since their 2007 wedding, had the snake put on her shoulder.

The new season of Anthony Bourdain No Reservations premieres Monday on the Travel Channel with an episode shot in Haiti.
