Girl With Flesh-Eating Disease Off The Ventilator And ‘Cracking Jokes’

Following a harrowing few weeks where she lost both her hands, her left leg and right foot, the Georgia girl whose body is being ravaged by a flesh-eating disease celebrated a small victory on Sunday when she was taken off the ventilator and finally breathed on her own.

Aimee Copeland proved that even the devastating bacteria couldn’t destroy her good spirits and her family revealed that she is already acting like normal.

Aimee Copeland proved that even the devastating bacteria couldn’t destroy her good spirits and her family revealed that she is already acting like normal.

"Aimee is being Aimee. She's cracking jokes, speaking frankly, displaying her usual early morning grumpiness and she has been off of the ventilator for over 10 hours," Andy Copeland said in a blog post on Sunday night.

The Georgia girl whose body is being ravaged by a flesh-eating bacteria bravely gave the OK when her parents broke the news to her that she would have to lose her hands and right foot.

Aimee Copeland, 24, of Snellville, Georgia, is now awake and alert but remains in critical condition battling the hideous infection, after falling from a home-made zip line into infected water near the Little Tallapoosa River on May 1.

Amputating part of all her limbs was the only way to save April Brown's life  The one-time successful cosmetologist and fashion designer is now a multiple amputee because of butt implants.

The Los Angeles woman suffered such severe infections following the unlicensed cosmetic procedures, removing her hands and feet was the only way to save her life, Brown told NBC.

"I got the butt implants five years ago," said Brown. "For five years, I lived in pain. Excruciating pain.

"They call it butt injections," aded the mother of two.  "These things are done at pumping parties. They call it medical grade silicone but a lot of it is industrial grade silicone."

With the roar of a tornado baring down on her home, a brave mother knew she had to take care of her little children, so she covered them with her own body, and while she saved their lives, she lost both her legs.

, 37, was home with her two children when the tornado ripped through her home in Louisville, Kentucky, and she grabbed them and rushed to safety in the basement of their home.

Man Suing Surgeon For Amputating Penis Without Permission Loses Court Battle

A Kentucky man who sued a surgeon for amputating his penis without permission during a routine operation has lost his battle in court, RadarOnline.com has learned.

A jury in Shelby County, Kentucky, unanimously agreed on Wednesday that Dr. John Patterson exercised appropriate care when he removed a portion of Phillip Seaton's penis in October 2007 during a routine circumcision operation to treat inflammation, reported ABCNews.com.

The verdict appears to be influenced by the fact that Seaton, a truck driver who can not read or write, signed a consent form for a routine circumcision.

Zsa Zsa Gabor has successfully undergone surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center to have her right leg amputated, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

“There were no problems during the operation,” Dr. David Rigberg told reporters at a press conference on Friday afternoon.
