Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter Amanda Brumfield was sentenced to 20 years in prison Thursday after she was found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a child in May.

Amanda Brumfield, the estranged daughter of Sling Blade star Billy Bob Thornton, has been found guilty of aggravated manslaughter of a child.

In addition, Brumfield, 32, was found not guilty on first degree murder and aggravated child abuse charges in connection with the 2008 death of her best friend’s daughter, 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia.

RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained the tape of a 911 call made by an unidentified man who was with Amanda Brumfield, the estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton, after a baby died in her care. Brumfield was released from custody Monday after she was arrested and charged with felony child neglect last week.

Authorities say Brumfield, 29, was babysitting her one-year-old infant goddaughter, Olivia Garcia, last October when the child died in her care.

Billy Bob’s Daughter Charged with Felony

The estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton was arrested and charged with felony neglect of child causing harm/disability last Friday.

Amanda Brumfield, 29, was babysitting a one-year-old child last October.  The child died in her care. According to the Ocoee, Florida Police Department, Brumfield stated that the child hit her head after a fall but medics were unable to revive her.

Paramedics were called to the house two and a half hours after the incident. The autopsy showed the child suffered a fracture skull and subdural hematoma due to blunt head trauma.

Brumfield made $2,500 bail and was released on Sunday at 8:23am
