Balloon Boy dad Richard Heene is undertaking manual labor as part of his 60 day work release program, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

The controversial former reality star – who entered the Alternative Sentencing Unit beside Larimer County Jail in Colorado on February 7, 2010 – has been ‘progressing well’ according to sources.

As part of the program Heene has had to find gainful employment and pay a minimum of $18 a day fee back to the facility which is like a community style hall adjacent to the prison.
