RadarOnline has exclusively obtained the last known photo of American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen before she was killed Saturday morning in a shocking hit-and-run accident in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
"We were on the boardwalk and saw her," said the photographer. "She was wearing army pants and now has black hair, and she was carrying a big leather jacket walking all manly."

Daniel Bark, the 23-year-old grocery clerk who struck and killed American Idol hopeful Alexis Cohen, is on suicide watch at a New Jersey jail, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Bark hit Cohen while crossing the street in the beach town of Seaside Heights, NJ causing fatal abdominal, chest and head injuries.
An attorney for Bark, David Glassman, tells us he's "having an extremely difficult time mentally coming to terms" with his charges.
"My client is in a state of mind where he is going to be under suicide watch. His family is extremely distraught about what happened to the victim in this case and want to extend condolences to her family."

Suspect Charged In Hit & Run Death Of American Idol Hopeful

Update: 23 year old Daniel Bark has now been charged with death by vehicular homicide in the hit and run that took the life of American Idol contestant Alexis Cohen. Bark was also charged with aggravated manslaughter and eluding police.
Cohen was hit on a road in Seaside Heights, New Jersey over the weekend-- her body was found by two pedestrians.
Bark's bail has been set at $185,000.
A 23-year-old man from Toms River, New Jersey, was taken into custody Sunday and charged with second-degree manslaughter in connection with the hit-and-run death of American Idol hopeful Alexis Cohen.
The case was ruled a homicide, according to authorities.
Daniel Bark, according to police, ran down Cohen then left the scene of the Jersey Shore accident early Saturday in his 2005 Mitsubishi Gallant. Bark is being held on $35,000 bail.
Authorities said Cohen, 25, suffered fatal chest, head and abdominal injuries.
Cohen, who auditioned twice for the talent competition, was memorable for her liberal use of glittery-eye makeup, and comparing herself to Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin and Grace Slick.

Former American Idol Hopeful Hit, Killed By Car

A fan favorite American Idol auditioner was struck and killed by a car on the Jersey Shore on Saturday.
Alexis Cohen, who auditioned twice for the talent competition, was hit and died in Seaside Heights, NJ., suffering fatal chest, head and abdominal injuries, says the AP.
Cohen was memorable for her uniqueness and particularly an angry rant against judge Simon Cowell, to whom she gave an expletive-laced departure.
