The Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Myers attempted to commit suicide, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The troubled 33-year-old star – who has fought alcoholism in recent years – was taken to a London hospital after he reportedly took pills at his home.
The handsome star, who plays Henry VIII in the popular show, was found slumped on his Maida Vale, Central London property on Tuesday evening.
Paramedics rushed to the address after receiving an emergency call, but they had to contact police after he refused treatment at the scene for around 30 minutes.
