Private Practice beauty Kate Walsh has decided to cut her losses by putting the Los Angeles home she shared with ex-husband Alex Young up for sale.

Walsh – who infamously decided to flip a coin with Young to determine their property assets during their bitter divorce – wants $3.995 million for the five bedroom, six bath Spanish-style mansion in hip neighborhood Loz Feliz.

Walsh and Young paid $4.75 million for the property back in July 2007 which means the actress will take a bit of a financial hit. She has already been forced to pay the studio executive $627,000 and has to give him half of her earnings during the short period of their time they together.
Built in 1928, the property measures 5,810 square feet and boasts a gym, a pool with a spa, an adjacent pool house, an outdoor fireplace and a dining area for those balmy summer nights.

The Kate Walsh – Alex Young divorce is making The War of the Roses look like a walk in the park.
Married only 14 months when TV executive Young filed against his The Practice star wife, their split could easily take twice that long to resolve.
The latest development, according to legal documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, has the couple’s former accounting firm trying to get out of the middle of their mess and asking the court to assist.
London & Co. handled both spouses’ income and bills even after they split in December.
A month later, Young’s attorney accused London & Co. of withholding information they were requesting about Kate’s income.
London and Co. now says the company has completed a 3,000 page report for Young, and has “fully compiled” with every subpoena but he is continuing with “unreasonably broad” demands.
The company wants the court to tell Young and his attorneys to back off and to pay the cost of the weighty report it has already compiled.

Young, the soon-to-be ex-husband of Private Practice star Kate Walsh has annoyed an accounting firm connected to their divorce so much that they just dropped court papers asking for a protective order against him.
The court docs from London & Company, LLP, state in part, "Young is intent on harassing London, a non party accounting firm, on the week before the tax filing deadline through a series of cryptic, threatening and abusive letters."
The company says it has produced 3,000 pages of documents but “Young’s motive is to compound the stress of tax season and harass London and its employees.”
Geez, accountants do get testy in April!
