Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo best known for his brief fling with Britney Spears, was sentenced to 45 days in jail Friday.
Ghalib, who pled no contest last month to leaving the scene of an accident, will also be placed on formal probation for 36 months and has been ordered to complete 52 weeks of anger management classes and 45 days of hard labor.

Britney's Spears' ex boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, pled no contest to leaving the scene of an accident in court Friday.
Adnan's Divorce Finalized
The ex paparazzo allegedly ran over a process server back in February with his Mercedes.
The process server, Ram Moskowitz, was trying to serve Ghalib with a restraining order to stay away from Britney. To avoid being pinned against a trash truck Moskowitz jumped on the hood of the Mercedes before falling off and breaking his wrist.
Adnan Ordered To Pay Britney's Legal Fees
In exchange for the plea Ghalib will have two other felony accounts against him dismissed. He faces up to a year in county.
Ghalib is due to be sentenced November 20th.

The former paparazzo and ex-boyfriend of Britney Spears has finally had his divorce finalized.

Ghalib’s wife, Azylynn Berry filed for separation January 18 2008, citing irreconcilable differences for the split.
In interviews at the time, Berry - who wed Ghalib in 2003 - claimed that the couple were still together when the Birmingham snapper began his relationship with Britney.

Ghalib dated Britney Spears for a brief period of time at the beginning of 2008, during the time she was first hospitalized against her will.

After their relationship ended, Britney’s father, Jamie, filed for a restraining order, which was granted for a three year period.
On June 8th 2009, the Los Angeles County Superior Court ordered Ghalib to pay the conservatorship of Britney Spears $11,500 to cover legal fees and costs it incurred in obtaining the restraining order against the photographer.

Britney Spears former paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib was back in a Los Angeles court Wednesday to answer charges that he ran over a process server with his Mercedes.
Ghalib, 36, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, hit and run and battery following the February 11 incident near his Los Angeles home.
The process server, Ram Moskowitz, was trying to serve Ghalib with a restraining order to stay away from the pop star. To avoid being pinned against a trash truck the victim jumped on the hood before falling off and breaking his wrist. The District Attorney alleges that Ghalib sped-off without stopping.
Ghalib is currently free after posting $110,000 in bail. He is due back in court August 24 to formally enter a plea to the charges.

With hundreds of thousands of dollars going out of her checking account every month for legal fees, Britney Spears has just caught a small financial break.
The Los Angeles County Superior Court on June 8 ordered Ghalib to pay the Conservatorship of Britney Jean Spears $11,500. to cover legal fees and costs it incurred in obtaining a restraining order against the photographer.
Ghalib may be counting himself as lucky, however. The Conservatorship had requested the Court award it over $70,000!

The cottage industry known as the “The Conservatorship of the Person and the Estate of Britney Jean Spears Legal Team” filed new papers with the Los Angeles County Superior Court last night amending the amount of legal fees it seeks to collect from Britney’s former colleagues.

For its time and trouble in obtaining restraining orders against Sam Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi and Jon Eardley, and fighting off Lutfi and Eardley’s challenges to those orders, the Spears attorneys are asking the court to award them a total of $301,290.19.
They’re now requesting $65,552.58 from paparazzi Ghalib, $114,552.90 from former manager Lutfi, and $121,184.71 from lawyer Jon Eardley.
At almost $20,000 less than the original request, that’s a glimmer of good news for the defendants.

Britney Spears former boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has finally responded to a civil damages lawsuit filed against him earlier this year by Ram Moskowitz, a process server who claims the paparazzo hit him with his car.
In legal papers filed last night in Los Angeles and obtained by RadarOnline.com, Ghalib denies “each and every allegation” made against him by Moskowitz.
Moskowitz was trying to serve Ghalib with a summons on behalf of The Conservatorship of Britney Jean Spears when the incident occurred.
At the time her legal team was attempting to get a restraining order against him.
Ghalib never did fight the restraining order which was issued against him along with fellow Britney hanger-on Sam Lutfi and attorney John Eardley.
Ironically, earlier today RadarOnline.com learned that the Conservatorship is now going against the trio for recovery of its legal expenses in the matter of the restraining orders.

BREAKING NEWS: Britney Spears Wants Her Former Friends to Pay Her Legal Fees

Britney Spears – and that means the Conservatorship of the Person and Estate of – is headed back into court to try and collect the cost of defending itself against the pop star’s former pals.
Earlier this year, a Los Angeles County Judge issued restraining orders against her former boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib, manager Sam Lutfi and attorney Jon Eardley. Lutfi and Eardley both unsuccessfully challenged the restraining orders. Now the Conservatorship wants the bad guys to pony up for the legal fees it incurred. It is asking the Los Angeles County Superior Court to request that the “Respondents” pay it the following amounts: Ghalib, $70,6678.80; Lutfi, $121,655.42; and Eardley, $128,287,23.
A hearing on the request is on calendar for this Friday. RadarOnline.com will be there.

Adnan Ghalib will get his day in court and that day will be May 18.
That's the date that was scheduled Monday in a Van Nuys California court for a preliminary hearing relating to three felony charges against the paparazzo who once dated Britney Spears. Ghalib is accused of running over a man trying to serve him with a restraining order. That man, Ram Maskowitz, was granted a restraining The District Attorney's request for protective orders for Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, Jayden James and Jamie Spears was turned down, because restraining orders are already in place.

Adnan Ghalib, a paparazzo who once dated Britney Spears, will appear in a Van Nuys California court Monday morning in connection with three felony charges stemming from a February incident in which he is accused of running over a man trying to serve him with a restraining order.
During the hearing Monday, the judge is expected to set a date for Ghalib's preliminary hearing. At that time, the judge will decide if there is enough evidence to order Ghalib to stand trial.
