Country’s hottest crooners showed up at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for the 45th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.

Stars including Julianne Hough, Carrie Underwood, Jewel, Reba McEntire and Randy Travis walked the orange carpet, with the dresscode ranging from glam couture and dapper duds, to embroidered lapels and offbeat overalls!
Though we were anxious to see American Idol alum Carrie Underwood on the orange carpet, her look was a bit disappointing.
The gorgeous blonde babe, opted for a pale pink, one-ruffled-shouldered, mini, which featured an embellished side halter and belt. Although it wasn’t awful, it wasn’t awe-inspiring either.

Julianne Hough missed the mark in a confusingly coutured, white strapless gown, which featured awkward embellishment, while Miranda Lambert shimmered in midnight blue, sequined floor length, which featured cap sleeves and a plunging neckline.

Jewel looked absolutely gorgeous, wearing a dreamy, periwinkle blue, chiffon baby doll gown, which featured an embellished bodice.
The tiered floor length, had a fairy tale like feel to it, which was perfectly suited for the rags-to-riches singing sensation, while Meghan Linsey of the band Steel Magnolia’s wore a peachy perfect strapless, which looked strikingly similar to Demi Moore’s Atelier Versace Oscar Dress.

Sequined stars glitzed up Las Vegas on the Orange Carpet Sunday night and inside the 44th American Country Music Awards. Having more dazzle, beading, embroidery, and embellishment than all of Sin City, the country stars put their fashion feet forward and two-booted their way into the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the hoedown!

Carrie Gets Carried On Stage At ACM Awards

Carrie Underwood's outrageous performance garb for the ACM Awards was the big secret of the country music world and last night, the monstrosity of a dress was revealed, taking up nearly half the stage! Underwood's behemoth of a gown, possibly Marie Antoinette inspired, was so heavy that it had to be carried on stage by 3 handlers. A source on the scene tells RadarOnline.com, "to get off [Underwood] grabbed as much as she could and scampered off, stumbling a bit." Poor thing! (Continue)

Dancing With The Stars hottie turned country gal songstress, Julianne Hough, accepted her Top New Artist ACM Award in Las Vegas last night, after tearing the back of her gown, with a mix of laughter and tears. A golden knockout in her Zuhair Murad jeweled-up-number, Hough gushed in her acceptance speech, "It's a good thing I ripped my dress, because now I have something else to think about."
