A key backer of a political bill that could put Dog the Bounty Hunter and other bail bondsmen out of business is facing a grand jury probe that could put her behind bars for a car crash that killed a pregnant woman.

Kevin Costner walked away unharmed this weekend after a thunderstorm caved in a stage at a Canadian music festival him and his band were slated to perform at, to tragic results: the accident left one person dead (killed by falling debris), two hospitalized in critical condition and about 75 injured, officials said.
Costner's manager, Nick Meinama, said he was caught underneath the stage with the Field Of Dreams star -- who was getting ready to perform next when the stage caved in Saturday.

With the opening of The Taking of Pelham 123 just days away, John Travolta has taken to his personal website to thank his coworkers on the film for allowing him to pull out of the massive promotional campaign.
Typically in the weeks before an opening, Travolta would be traveling the country doing dozens of TV appearances, newspaper and magazine interviews, press junkets, personal appearances, and a red carpet premiere.
It’s a non-stop grind that’s a required part of opening a big budget film.
