Star styles ran the gamut in NYC Wednesday night - fierce fashions abound at Rolling Stone Magazine's "The Power of Leather Party" and glam girls stepped out at the My Sister's Keeper premiere.
Ashlee Simpson flaunted her slim post-baby bod in a leather getup and shimmery mini-skirt at "The Power of Leather Party." Keeping up with the biker-chic theme, Kim Kardashian rocked a leather jacket, distressed jeans, and Giuseppe Zanotti studded boots.
Across the island, at the My Sister's Keeper premiere, the cast of gals showcased flawless fashions at the world premiere of the flick. Cameron Diaz stunned in an asymmetrical stark white J. Mendel structured mini and Pierre Hardy peep-toe heels. Her young but fashionable costars didn't disappoint, Sofia Vassilieva made a silver statement in a D&G strapless mini and Abigail Breslin opted for a cutesy look in a pink empire waist number.
In LALA land, Zooey Deschanel stayed true to her hip-factor sporting baby blue pumps to spice up her navy Naeem Khan dress with silver floral applique.

It’s a HUGE night on MTV, and not just because we say farewell to Lauren Conrad, hello to Kristin Cavallari and ‘don’t do it!’ to Heidi Montag on the season finale of The Hills!
The real reason for all the excitement is actually because it’s time for the much anticipated... MTV Movie Awards! Yay! And there’s just so much to see tonight, starting with an awesome and outrageous digital short by host, Andy Samberg, featuring Will Ferrell and J.J. Abrams. We get performances by our long lost Eminem, who will perform music from his new album Relapse. Kings of Leon will perform live on MTV for the first time ever, treating us to their hit song, Use Somebody! Then, of course we have the presenters. Let me just drop a few names on ya… James T. Kirk hottie, Chris Pine, Sacha Baron Cohen (as Brüno), head butting-bad boy (both on and off screen) Kiefer Sutherland, as well as LeAnn Rimes, Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf, Zac Efron, Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell, Sandra Bullock, Vanessa Hudgens, Leighton Meester, Jonah Hill, Lil Wayne, Sienna Miller, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, Abigail Breslin and Danny McBride, just to name a few! BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! We also get to see the world premiere trailer and exclusive clips from 3 of the most anticipated movies of the year, Twilight’s sequel, New Moon, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen! Woo hoo!
