Take it from former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi: know what you’re getting into before you eat brownies from Paula Abdul's fridge.
The Grammy-nominated songwriter said she was staying at Abdul's L.A. home when her late night munchies inadvertently landed her in the E.R., as she didn't know the sweets she scarfed down had marijuana baked into them.

Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi took a few jabs at her old show in an interview with The Today Show on Tuesday.
The Grammy-nominated songwriter, who was on the judge’s panel in 2009 and 2010, said she thinks the show did not give her the best introduction.
"I think people were so confused ... it took viewers awhile to figure out why I was there,” DioGuardi said. “It was like I broke up the Beatles.”

Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has revealed that she was molested as a child and that, as a young adult, she was the victim of date raped by a well known music producer.
The shocking revelations come in her new book, A Helluva High Note, in which she also lifts the lid on the behind the scenes secrets of American Idol.
