Inception star Joseph Gordon-Levitt has pulled out of an acting event in Ohio a month after his older brother Dan Gordon Levitt died from a drugs overdose, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Being that Marc Webb is best known as a music video director for top-selling artists like Fergie and Miley Cyrus, and critical darlings like Regina Spector, it makes perfect sense that music is an integral part of his first feature film, the simply delightful 500 Days of Summer. In the vein of Garden State, this hipster love story uses music to illustrate the young protagonist’s moods, in this case, Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who has a pop-song philosophy on love that is executed in sonic perfection on screen. Unfortunately, the film’s soundtrack falls a bit short.

Okay, that’s a big lie. There won’t be 500 reasons listed here. But it got your attention and that’s important — because (500) Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel is the best romantic dramedy to come around in for-evah. And dare we say, it’s the most honest depiction of relationships since When Harry Met Sally. Yep, we made the comparison and it’s not b.s. this time. It’s really that good.

Before 500 Days of Summer premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, director Marc Webb was established as a music video director, in fact he won a few MTV VMA's for his work for bands like the All-American Rejects and Weezer, and in his directorial movie debut, music plays a key role.
Radaronline.com sat down with the youthful director to discuss 500 Hundred Days of Summer which opens July 17th and grill him on the lamb that always shows up in his work.
