Kiefer Sutherland will be resurrecting his role as the over-the-top government operative Jack Bauer in a script being written by Wolverine scribe Mark Bomback.

The owner of a famous London strip club has shot down reports Kiefer Sutherland was ejected from the venue due to wild drunken behavior.
Peter Stringfellow has denied the star of 24 grappled shirtless with four bouncers at his exotic dance venue.
He said paparazzi shots of the incident -- which have just been published in Britain's The Sun -- have been spun out of control.

In a blog posted on the Stringfellows' website, the club owner insisted Sutherland, 43, was never booted out of the club and was polite to every member of staff.

"(Sutherland) had a wonderful time, was incredibly charming to all the staff, very generous to all the girls and made friends with my security people," he said.
"Around about 3.15am he decided it would be very funny to take his shirt off."
"When it was explained to him very gently that that was the job of the girls and not the customers he burst out laughing."

"His friend thought that this would be a good time for them go home."
Stringfellow, whose clubs offer "tableside dancing, lap dancing and hundreds of beautiful girls", attempted to explain the photos which appeared to show
Sutherland being held in a headlock by his bouncers.
"One of the photos in The Sun looks like my security guys got Kiefer in a headlock," said Stringfellow.

"That is NOT the case they were just helping him into his car.
"Kiefer had slipped and the doorman tried to catch him and at the same time keep the photographers from taking photos, needless to say none of this
worked and the paparazzi had a field day."

Stringfellow ended his note with an open invitation to Sutherland to return to the strip club whenever he's in London.

After being literally thrown out of a club by four bouncers during a night of heavy drinking, 24 star Kiefer Sutherland bounced back within 12 hours to tape a show with UK talk show host Jonathan Ross, RadarOnline.com has learned.
And it must have taken all of Kiefer’s acting skills to mask the effects of the crazy night before, which left him “drunk, disorderly and shirtless at 4 am” according to the New York Post.

Clock's Ticking On 24; Fox Expected To Cancel Series

Fox is expected to cancel their long-running thriller 24 as early as Thursday, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The show's costs have been rising while ratings in its' eighth season have tapered off, according to Variety, leading the studio to pull the plug on it after this season.
Fans of the show have one silver lining, as 24’s star Kiefer Sutherland and the show's producers have expressed serious interest in making a feature film based on the series.
For now, the show airs Mondays on Fox at 9/8c.

The hit show 24 has temporarily halted production while star Kiefer Sutherland is having elective surgery. The actor, 43, had the surgery for a ruptured cyst that is near one of his kidneys.
According to reports, the cyst ruptured early last week but production continued until Friday without Sutherland.

"We are temporarily suspending production of 24 while our friend and colleague Kiefer Sutherland undergoes a medical procedure," the network said in a statement. "We hope to resume production shortly and do not anticipate any disruption in the broadcast of this season's episodes."

24 star Mary Lynn Rajskub married personal trainer Matthew Rolph August 1 in Las Vegas, her rep confirmed to RadarOnline.com. The couple’s year-old son Valentine walked his mom down the aisle to the tune of Elvis Presley’s A Little Less Conversation.
Mary Lynn wore Nicole Miller and the groom was in Hugo Boss for the low key affair attended by 20 family and friends at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. They dined and partied at Koi Las Vegas after the brief ceremony.
Rajskub costars in the new film Julie & Julia and is working on the eighth season of 24.
