With Mickey Rourke, the honeymoon period consists of a gun to the head, his ex wife Carré Otis tells Anderson Cooper on Tuesday's Anderson.
"It wasn't the first time, but I had said to him, ‘I don't want you going out,’” Otis, 43, said she told the Iron Man 2 star, who was going through well-publicized battles with drugs and alcohol at the time of their June 1992 wedding.
But Mickey, Otis said, didn’t bother staying in despite his new bride’s wishes.

Veteran actor Mickey Rourke has weathered the ups and downs of Hollywood and fame. Now back on top, he had some choice words for young Hollywood, saying their current bursts of notoriety has nothing to do with their acting skills.

"You can be less than mediocre and be a f-ing movie star. I have respect for very few actors and actresses," he recently told Parade. "Some of them get a lot of acclaim but just because their movie made $200 million at the box office; they still suck."
While he has "no respect" for such young upstarts, Rourke is now wise enough to keep his specific grumblings to himself.

Mickey Rourke acknowledged the irony of working with his Iron Man 2 co-star Robert Downey Jr. on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday, as both men have had incredible Hollywood comebacks after substance abuse issues sidetracked their careers for years.
"It was funny because both of us got a second chance, and you don't get second chances a lot in life, especially in the movie business," Rourke said. "We both had two strikes, two-and-a-half strikes, really ... I think he was worse than me

After endless months of rumors and speculation, The Wrestler's Mickey Rourke finally stepped foot into a WWE ring -- to box.
After WWE villain Chris Jericho won his match, he called out the actor, who was sitting in the crowd.
Rourke, looking decidedly badass in a black leather vest and jeans, climbed into the ring to the delight of those in attendance at Houston's Reliant Stadium.
