Robert Pattinson is sure the insane fan attention that has surrounded him since his casting as Twilight’s Edward Cullen was first announced will move over to Taylor Lautner once New Moon is released.

In a lengthy interview in Sunday’s The Sydney Morning Telegraph, RPattz revealed, “I’m not the lead in the second film. Taylor is. I appear in Bella’s dreams. So I’m in it but the focus is not on me. I just have significant moments at the beginning and the end. So I’m more of a supporting role in this one which is why I feel so free.”

Lautner is already getting a taste for the explosive fan reaction that will follow New Moon’s November 20 release. At an October 8 Taylor Swift concert, the audience went wild at the sight of Lautner in the crowd.

“I don’t take any of it seriously,” Pattinson said of the sex symbol status. “It’s just a job and while it’s a job I love, girls scream out for Edward, not Robert. I still can’t get a date.”

Robert Pattinson continues to turn New York upside down as he shoots dozens of outdoor scenes for his upcoming film, Remember Me. Femme fans, young and old are three deep on the sidewalks every time their fav Twilight hunk steps out of his trailer.
Remember Me is the tale of star-crossed lovers - are there any other kind when RPattz is concerned - whose romance is complicated by a string of family tragedies. Emilie de Ravin plays the object of Pattinson's affection.

After weeks of rehearsals, costume fittings and a dramatic change in her hair cut and color, Kristen Stewart began shooting The Runaways on Monday in Los Angeles. Kristen stars as the iconic rock chick Joan Jett in the story of the all-girl 1970s band. Dakota Fanning costars as The Runaways lead singer Cherie Currie. This is the second flick for Kristen and Dakota. The actresses met and bonded during the making of The Twilight Saga: New Moon which comes out November 20.
