While Dakota Fanning's carving her name out in Tinseltown, she's also been hitting the books, and on Monday, the hard work the actress has been putting in paid off, as she graduated from high school in a ceremony at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
The 17-year-old star of The Runaways and Twilight wore a blue cap and gown as she walked with her graduating class from North Hollywood's Campbell Hall Episcopal High School, where she was a cheerleader, as well as the homecoming queen.

Kristen Stewart had a slight slip of the tongue on the Late Show with David Letterman Monday, when discussing the worldwide tour she's been on promoting the Twilight films with her hunky co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
Stewart, who has been romantically tied to Pattinson, told Letterman that she spent more time with Lautner on the Eclipse circuit, as Pattinson has been working on future projects such as Water For Elephants and Bel Ami.

While Dakota Fanning’s carving her name out in Tinseltown, she’s still enjoying the normal teenage rights of passage such as prom night, and the actress dished about her special evening on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Monday.
The 16-year-old star of The Runaways said she made an impromptu decision to attend her dance only two days before it occurred.

On the Today Show on Monday, Dakota Fanning said she's thrilled to have a small part in the Twilight films and talked about losing out in the Best Kiss category at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards.

Robert Pattinson will play grunge rock icon Kurt Cobain, RadarOnline.com has learned, in a Universal Pictures biopic of the late Nirvana front man tentatively titled All Apologies.
Pattinson has been in talks with Cobain's widow Courtney Love, the UK Sun reported, adding that the Twilight star is enamored with the role since he considers himself a musician first, then an actor.
