The Wanderlust star and her actor/producer boyfriend, Justin Theroux, are splashing out $40,000 a month for the swanky 5 bedroom, 6.5 bathrooms Asian theme contemporary house, reported Trulia Luxe Living.

Christina Ricci took to the high skies for her latest TV venture Pan Am, and now the critically acclaimed actress is moving on ground-level too after putting her Hollywood Hills home up for rent.

The cozy 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cottage was bought by Ricci in 2005 for $1, 505,000, and instead of selling it in a bad real estate market she has opted to rent out the house for $8,000 a month, reported Trulia Luxe Living.

It has been a rough week in the world of celebrity real estate, as yet another Hollywood star is struggling to sell his multi-million dollar mansion.

Former Malcolm In The Middle star Frankie Muniz first put his Hollywood Hills home on the market in 2010 for $3,295,000, but after repeated price drops, he is now opting to rent out the 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom house, reported Zillow.com.
