In an audience filled with handpicked fans dressed in brightly-colored outfits, Oprah said goodbye to the nation’s most popular daytime talk show.

With two days to go before the historic final episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, the talk show queen was pulling out all the stops to make sure it was a television experience that viewers would never forget!
Famous for surprising her guests and audiences with lavish gifts, this time it was Oprah who was caught off guard during the first part of the star-studded finale, which aired on Monday.

Oprah Winfrey is not familiar with failure, and the talk show queen is chopping off heads at her newly-launched network, OWN.
Christina Norman was dismissed as head of the Oprah Winfrey Network on Friday after just four months on the job. She was immediately replaced by Peter Liguori, COO of the company that owns the Discovery channel.

Being a pioneer is one thing, but leading the sex tape revolution? Wow.
Rob Lowe, 47, is promoting his new autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends and told Oprah Winfrey that having the first “celebrity sex tape” actually was a positive thing for him.

“It ends up being the greatest thing that ever happened to me,” he told Oprah. After joking that celebrities today make their own sex tapes to launch their careers, he said that the scandalous tape that surfaced in 1989 changed his life for the better.
“What it ends up doing is accelerating my alcohol stuff to where I finally get sober,” Lowe explained.
